I first met the BOS from helping them with their ghoul problem. Paladin Danse is my mentor, he's my bestfriend. I was travelling the common with MacCready when I saw this big blip in the sky. Was this the Prydwen? Its not supposed to be here? Uh oh, something really bad is about to happen. I went to the Cambridge police station the see what was up. Our usual BOS brothers and sisters were there, "Ad Victoriam" I said to them as I walked through looking for Danse. I found him in the back, sitting down, of course he wasnt out of his power armor, "Hey, Danse?" He looked up.
"Yes, Ava?" He answered.
"Why's the Prydwen here? It isn't supposed to b--"
"Theres an emergency, you are to report on the prydwen immediately." He said with a stern face.
"Okay.. Will you come with me?" I asked.
"You know I must. Why are you traveling with this sad excuse of a human?" Paladin scoffed.
"Look danse, I'm travelling with him, like it or not, I'm still going to.. So let's go to the Prydwen please." I said back with a little attitude. Danse just looked at me as he gestured for us to follow. We went up to the roof and got into a veritbird.
Met elder maxson.
Told him her plan and everything she knows about the institute.. It's time, time to get into the institute. She went to Virgil, got plans to build some device that'll transport her into the institute. She killed a courser, took it's chip and started building the device with the BOS in the boston airport.MacCready and I settled down on two separate beds. As he laid he spoke,
"You know I was thinking, as much as I know about you, you don't know a thing about me." I walked to a nearby bathroom.
"Yeah." I replied washing my face with my hands.
"My wife Lucy..." He trailed off.
I just sat on the edge of my bed and looked at him waiting for him to explain.
"I haven't been able to trust anyone since I was a kid. But you, you're different. I feel like you actually care about what happens to me. I had to come up with every trick in the book to survive in the Capital Wasteland."
"Capital Wasteland?"
"Yeah, in an underground place called Little Lamplight. Left there when I was about 16. Can you believe I was the Mayor? Me? Crazy I know."
He actually sounded happy and laughed a little.
"Makes sense I guess."
"Nothing makes sense anymore. Anyway, when I hit sixteen I ended up hitting the capital wasteland for a while. Hitched a ride with a caravan up North til I ended up here. Made a pretty decent name for myself until I heard the gunners needed some sharpshooters. Biggest mistake of my life. They were animals. So I quit."
"Wow," I said thinking about all he told me. he wasn't finished though, I could tell. "Sounds really tough."
"Well, it was. I need your help with something... After you deal with all this," he replied gesturing around the Prydwen. "Of course. And I don't just go around asking people for help."
"I get it, you need my help. What's up?"
"You know the two assh- guys back at Goodneighbor who I was talking to. With then alive I can never leave the gunners for good."
"They need to die?"
"Yes... and really, I dont just go around asking people for help, but you, you're different."
"I get it MacCready.. Just give me a week or two and we'll get right on it."
"Alright," he let out a breath sounding relieved, "When you're ready just head up to Mass Pike Interchange."
"Okay."
After that little conversation I decided to get some rest for tomorrow since I have to see Nick and we'll track down this 'Kellogg'.
