I left a couple hours later after the whole awkward incident. I let no one know, Dr. Madison Li installed something into my pip-boy for me to transfer in and out of the institute whenever needed. I went straight to the Boston airport and told the BOS all. They told me to work with them for a while until we come up with a good plan to destroy the Institute once and for all.. Once i was done talking to them I went up into the prydwen and into my headquarters (with 5 other people) to see MacCready sitting on my bed. I have him a long hug. I liked hugging him. I told him the full story, from start to finish.
"So.. your husband is alive?" He asked.
"Yes... Well, ex-husband."
"And he has a...."
"Girlfriend, because 'she's been there for him. And she's been his rock.' " I scoffed.
MacCready sat and listened. "Its like he's blaming me for not finding the Institute in time, for not being there because I was frozen! And determined on finding my dead son, while mourning my ex-husband."
"Look, I don't know how it feels... but I'm here for you no matter what, and you know that."
"I know." I said embracing him.
I know.
I went back to the Institute encountering Nate. "Its just one thing I don't understand, Nate. How are you alive?"
"Here's the full story. We got into the vault you know. The institute took me and put a synth in the cryo instead with shaun. I demanded that they have shaun removed and with me so they sent kellogg. I tried to get you out, I did. But they wouldn't let me. They waited for Shaun to grow old enough and make him director, I tried to talk him into releasing you or letting me to the common. He refused, but he's used you as some type of experiment. They've got him brainwashed, but not me. I want to get out of here, as good as it may look, The Institute is corrupted. But...."
"Yes?"
"I... want to take Danielle with me."
"Who's that?" I asked dumbfounded.
"Well, she's my girlfriend."
"Okay, be ready,
I have to do something before we leave. I'll meet you-y'all back here, 10PM. Be here." I said leaving.
