Chapter 9

Natalie's POV

Quietly stirring from my sleep, I glanced down at the small toddler curled up on my chest. I was getting used to her not liking her crib. Since she was born, she's pretty much refused to sleep away from me or in a crib without anybody. She has learned to cope with having Lucy's twins sleep with her but she refused to sleep by herself. I don't mind. Sighing quietly, I slowly sat up while holding onto Raigh-lee who was now wide awake with her favorite pink pacifier in her mouth.

"What time is it?" I asked myself while glancing towards the dark window before searching my bed for my cellphone with my free hand until I found it. Quickly turning it on, I was immediately blinded by the picture of Raigh-lee before my eyes adjusted. "It's past five o'clock already?" I questioned myself while looking down at my baby as she buried her head into my chest. "Since we're up, let's go get you something to eat and than back to bed we go." I whispered while kissing Raigh-lee's curls as she hummed in reply. Carefully pulling the quilt back while getting up from the bed, I quickly exited the room while walking towards the kitchen as I was stopped by what stood before me.

A broad bare back, glistening muscles, and a nice firm ass hidden away well behind a thick towel. Quietly scanning over the rest of his back, I glanced up at the wet strands of golden brown hair that clung to the napes of his neck. Oh god. He was a sight to behold.

"Oh! Umm...I didn't think you would be up at this time. Good morning." Aiden greeted as he caught me staring at the towel that was barely covering him up. "Sorry about this, I just got out of the shower and as I said before, I didn't think that you two would be up." He nervously fiddled with the door handle to the fridge as I caught sight of the front of him. His bare torso was covered in water droplets that slid down his nice muscular abs before disappearing beneath the fabric of the towel. I wish I was that towel right now.

"Uh, good morning Aiden. It's okay, Raigh-lee kind of woke me up. So, I thought that I might as well feed her than go back to sleep, but why are you up so early?" I questioned as he pulled a water bottle from the fridge before drinking from it. Even that little action made him look sexy. Oh god.

"I just finished jogging not too long ago and I showered to wash off the sweat and dirt. The early mornings feel so good, especially the after affect that you get from running. You should join me sometime. It helps release a lot of stress." He explained while smiling at me. "But, I don't mind if you don't want to." He added while staring at me as I smiled back at him.

"I would love to, I just have to get a stroller for Raigh-lee...and some sportswear. We could do it on one of our free days." I stated as he smiled at me.

"That sounds great. How about I go change and than I'll make us all some breakfast. How does that sound?" He asked as I nodded at his suggestion.

"That sounds great."

Glancing over at Aiden, I couldn't believe the place that he had just parked at. I've only been to this place once, but I treasured that moment and now I was back again. With this joyful man.

We were at a CARNIVAL!

"Ready, beautiful?" Aiden asked while opening the door for me with a smile on his face as I took hold of his hand before he helped me out. "Today, we are teenagers. Let's have all the fun that we can." He whispered into my ear as I turned and hugged him. I've never been this close to him before. I think I like this.

"Thank you so much! I love it! What ride should we go on first?" I asked as Aiden looked down at me with the same smile on his face.

"Hold your horses, beautiful. First let's go get our tickets than let's go have the time of our lives." He stated while holding onto my hand as I noticed the large crowd gathering near a ticket booth.
