*Cassandra's POV*
A few weeks had passed and I officially got my boot off. They said it looked a lot worse than it was and it had healed faster than they've ever seen. I had my boot on for a month, two weeks in the hospital, two weeks at home. The night that Austin got me out of the hospital was when I actually got released. I only had to go back to get my foot checked on.
Austin has been staying with me in the house so I'm not lonely. Not sleeping together of course, I wasn't ready for that. He was staying here for another 2 weeks and then leaving to go back to Miami. I wasn't ready to see him leave me. I didn't know what I would do.
-
"Babe," Austin said looking me in the eyes. His eyes are the kind of eyes you get lost in every time. No matter how many times I look into them, I always do.
"Yes Austin?" I asked.
"Let's go to my house. I have a surprise for you." We ran down the stairs and got into the car. When we got to his house I ran up to his room. He ran up after me and grabbed my hand in the hallway and turned me around. He pinned me up against the wall and kissed me forcefully. Of course, I kissed back. Our lips started moving in sync and he slid his tongue across my bottom lip, asking for an entrance, which I gladly accepted. It turned into a full heated make-out session. He pulled away a couple minutes later smiling.
"Cass, will you be my girlfriend?" I was speechless. My lifesaver wanted to be my boyfriend. All I could do was kiss him.
"I'll take that as a yes," he said winking.
"Austin?" Michele yelled coming up the stairs.
"Hey mom," he replied.
"Have you started packing?" She asked.
"Pa-packing?" I stumbled out.
"Yes, we are going back to Miami." Michele said smiling.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said tearing up. I couldn't lose the boy I just started dating. And even though we had just started dating, we have been friend for awhile now. I couldn't lose my best friend. It seems like I've known him forever and I am scared to let go. I couldn't let him see me cry so I ran down the stairs and walked out the door. I walked to the park since my house was too far. All I wanted to do was sit alone and drown myself in my thoughts.
A few minutes later Austin pulled up in his red range rover. He got out of his car and started running towards me. I just turned away to face anywhere but him. And of course, it started raining.
"Cass!" Austin yelled. I didn't respond.
"Cass! You need to get out of the rain you are going to get sick," he said getting closer. I still ignored him.
"Cassandra you need to answer me. Okay you know what we are doing this my way." He picked me up bridal style and took me to his car. He set me in the passenger seat and shut the door. I buckled up while he ran around the front of the car and got in. He was soaked. He buckled up and started driving.
He turned into the driveway and parked the car. We both just sat there, letting the rain bounce off of the car.
"Cass," Austin said putting his hand on my shoulder. I shook it off and stared blankly out of the window.
"Cass," Austin repeated, getting louder.
"What Austin!" I snapped back.
"I'm sorry, ok?"
"Austin, sorry isn't going to cut it. I was happy with what we were. And now you're just going to leave me? What am I going to do here by myself, huh? You have been my support system through it all and your just going to pack up and leave? I don't know how I will manage without you," I said. By now tears were flowing down my face.
"Baby, please, don't cry. I'm not going to leave you," he whispered as he wiped my tears away.
"Wh-what?" A puzzled expression covered my face.
"You're coming with me Cass!" He smiled.
"I can't just leave my house! What about the house? I have bills to pay! I need a job! A roof ov-"
"Cass," he chucked. "The house is paid for. It's not going anywhere. But you are, ok? We're going to go back to your house and you are going to pack a suitcase or two, and we are flying back to Miami. You will stay with me." He kissed my nose, making me giggle. He seemed to have it all taken care of, which was fine by me.
When we got to my house I ran to my room. I got out 2 suitcases and went to my dresser first. I grabbed all of my undergarments and stuffed them into a suitcase. Then I got out socks and swimsuits and stuffed those in as well. I grabbed my favorite pairs of jeans and shorts and stuffed those in. Next I grabbed my spanks and sweatpants and threw them in too. I sat on the top of the now stuffed suitcase and zipped it up.
"Hey! Don't put anything we can't buy down there in," Austin said walking in.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Like shampoo and conditioner, soap, or girl stuff," he said embarrassed. All I could do was giggle.
"Freak," I whispered while winking.
"Yeah but I am your freak," he said pushing his lips against mine. He then deepened the kiss. I felt his tongue slide across my bottom lip, which I denied.
"I need to finish packing babe," I whispered against his lips.
"It'll only be for a little bit," he said smashing his lips back against mine. He deepened the kiss once again, and slid his tongue across my lip once again, but this time i accepted, and opened my mouth for his tongue to explore, which it gladly did.
We finally pulled away, Austin smiled at me. He clicked the power button in his phone to check the time.
"Shoot! We need to get going hurry and finish packing!" He said scrambling around. I got up and went to the closet and threw a bunch of shirts and sweatshirts in my suitcase. Austin zipped it up and grabbed the heavier one on and left me the light one. What a gentleman, I thought to myself.
"What are you smiling about?" He asked looking back at me.
"Oh, nothing. Let's go," I stuffed my phone charger and laptop, along with my laptop charger in a bag and followed Austin down the stairs.
Maybe everything will be alright.
