*Cassandra's POV*

I sat in the hospital bed watching TV. I looked down at the boot on my foot. I don't remember a thing. I grabbed the handheld mirror Austin got out of my bathroom for me while he was here yesterday and I held it up to my face. My body immediately slumped down making me feel insecure. There were cuts and bruises all over my face.

"Excuse me Mrs. Ryan there is someone here for you," my nurse told me making me out down the mirror

"Okay send them in," I said hoping it was my mother. I haven't seen her since the crash and I was anxious to see her.

"Hey hey!" I heard before a familiar figure walked into the room. Austin.

"Hey!" I said excited he was here but disappointed it wasn't my mom. He must've seen my smile fade away because so did his.

"Cheer up babe, I brought you something!" Austin said rubbing his thumb across my cheek. The word "babe" ran through my head over and over. Did he really just call me babe? No way. My heart fluttered and butterfly's appeared in my stomach. I smiled as "sorry Austy" slipped out I my mouth. My smile turned to a smirk as he held his mouth open.

"So nicknames huh?" He asked.

"Yep!" I said full of energy.

"Well then Cass-bear," he said making himself laugh which caused me to giggle.

"Ok back to what I got you!" Austin said excitedly. He hopped off the end of the bed and ran out into the hallway. He peeked back in before yelling "close your eyes Cass-bear!!"

"They are closed!" I said. I heard ruffling before I heard Austin shout, "Open!" It was a basket filled with Austin memorabilia. I remember seeing most of it at either Claire's or online at Mahomies.com, besides the signed picture. I couldn't believe he had spent all this money on me.

"Woah Austin, I don't even know what to say. But why would you spend all the money on me?" I asked, staring into his eyes.

"I love my fans." Austin replied, shrugging a bit.

"You don't spend all this money on your fans do you?" There's no way he could afford to. So many people get hurt every day and he has so many fans, I bet at least one does a day.

"Only on the cute ones," he said winking. I blushed, and hid my face in my hands. "Aww, how cute. But I do have one more surprise!"

"Austin Carter Mahone, this better not be anything with money."

"Actually no, I got you a pass out of the hospital. But I did see your ugly crutches, so I decided to get you some customized red ones. I got padding put on the tops too, because I was playing with them and they were a little uncomfortable..." Austin said a little taken back that I knew his full name. He's famous. He must've forgotten for those few seconds. I burst out laughing at the part about my crutches. Picturing him falling on crutches made my day.

"Did you fall?" I managed to get out inbetween giggles. Austin's face turned bright red, confirming my answer. I laughed even harder than I thought I could. My face was probably ten times redder than his, and I had tears running down my cheeks.

"Let's go already!" Austin said trying to change the subject.

"I need my crutches!! And I'm not wearing this out of the hospital!!"

"There's a change of clothes I picked out in the bathroom," he handed me my crutches, helping me up. I smirked as I saw the outfit coming into view. I was going to be wearing a pair of the shortest pair of white shorts I owned, white vans, and a red crop top with a Truckfit logo going across the chest.

Austin had good tastes. And I couldn't wait to see where he was taking me.
