The King and Queen of The Edge

I'm back
Sorry for being gone for so long I had some stupidly bad writers block but now I'm getting it all back together and I'm going to try to post chapters either every two or three days or every week

Here we go

Morning on Berk came quickly everyday of the year which pleases some but infuriates others who like to stay in bed a little longer

Stoick the Vast had been hard at work with Dagur and Heather to prepare the plaza and the Great Hall for Astrid and Hiccups journey into Royalty and beyond

What's that ?

Oh? You didn't know ?

Yes well as it turns out after Hiccup and the other riders fought Viggo and Ryker and won they claimed their island as their own and vowed that anyone who dared to try to take it from them would have to take it by force of war

All the dragon riders (except Snotlout who was being his dumb witted self) suggested that instead of being chief and chiefest of the island, they should be King and queen instead

Hiccup was very very uncertain about the idea but Astrid thought it would be a great idea for them and the island

With Hiccup still edgy about the idea Astrid decided to give him one of her special  persuasion talks and soon enough he was on board with the idea and couldn't be more excited

In the great hall the other dragon riders  were preparing for their ceremony and new beginning

Stoick was overlooking the entire operation to make sure the hall looked immaculate for their arrival and making sure that the twins didn't screw it up

"Fishlegs" Stoick called

"Yes Sir?" Fishlegs replied as he was finishing off the couples Royal painting

"That painting looks incredible son, you've done a great job" he said placing a hand on the young Vikings shoulder as he took in the beauty of the painting

Fishlegs had planned to do this painting for hiccup and Astrids wedding but when he knew they were becoming royals he decided it would be the perfect occasion

On the painting hiccup and Astrid were standing side by side holding hands with their heads rested on one anothers

Hiccup was wearing his usual red tunic and leather armour but as a little extra Fishlegs added his fathers fur cape going from his shoulders all the way down to his ankles

Astrid wasn't wearing her usual attire at all

In the painting she was wearing a beautiful white dress with flower patters around her waist line and a gorgeous diamond tiara in her hair

Stoick smiled "if this is what they look like when they get here I think I'll cry" he said making the two of them chuckle

"Well I'm not done yet sir, I've still got some bits to do on it but it will be finished before they get here" he said smiling confidently

"DRAGONS ON THE HORIZON!!!!!"

"Or not" Fishlegs said nervously

"I'll go see to them and stall them as long as I can, remember though son, this portrait can't be rushed so just take your time and do your best" he said smiling at him

Fishlegs smiled and nodded as he went back to work on the painting

"Listen up everyone" Stoick bellowed throughout the hall
