Hey Hiccy

The rest of the riders thought that astrid braid was for style but what if it was to hide a certain something from a certain hiccup

Astrid was out walking through the plaza of berk loving life as usual greeting the villagers and smiling constantly, the sun was out and the dragons flew fast and high

Things couldn't be better

She headed to the forge to see how her new dragon saddle was coming along, her old one was damaged badly by wild dragons when she was out with the other riders on a relocation mission

As she approached the forge the smell of molten steel and the warmth of the flames was pure bliss to her, she loved being here when hiccup was working because she could watch him pound steel and the sweat dripping down his body just make her SO weak at the knees

She walked in and saw gobber putting the finishing touches on her saddle

(The one she has in httyd 2)

"Ahh hello lass, here to collect your new saddle after you brought me the circus of your old one" goober said with a cheeky smirk

Astrid laughed and smiled "and a very good morning to you too gobber, so is it done?" Shes asked barley holding in her excitement

"Aye, your new saddle is ready and good to go" he said lifting the saddle off the plinth and handing it to her, astrid grabbed it but under estimated its weight and fell to the floor with the weight of the saddle pulling her down

"My thor Gobber what did you make this out of? Pure stone?" She said standing up and lifting the saddle onto her shoulder

Gobber laughed and shook his head, "i havent changed anything lass, you feeling okay?" He said, Astrid sighed and chuckled shaking her head

"I guess I havent been keeping up with my training lately and I'm losing my strength" she said shrugging "anyway thanks so much gobber, stormfly is going to be so happy" she said and walked out the forge happily

As gobber watched her leave he saw her braided pony tail fall from her shoulder and a large bruise on her neck

He shook his head and sighed "lass needs to stop sparing so hard" he said shaking his head

As astrid arrived into the dragon stables with stormflys new saddle she saw heather and ruffnut talking, she set the saddle down and walked over to them

"Hey guys" she said getting their attention "what are you talking about?"

"Hey Astrid" heather greeted

"Whats new?" Ruffnut followed

"I just got my new saddle from gobber" Astrid replied as she turned around and grabbed her new saddle, hoisted it over her shoulder and walked back over to heather and ruffnut

As she came over the two girls had their eyes wider than boulders, astrid was confused "uh, guys? Is it that impressive?" Shes asked looking at the two of them

Heather walked over to astrid and lifted her chin an tilted her head to the side "heather?! What are you doing?" Astrid gasped

Heather gasped in disbelief "im going to kill him!" She growled

"What are you talking about?" Astrid asked as she put her saddle back down and crossed her arms over her chest

Heather clenched her fists and looked like she was ready to murder "hiccup laid his hands on you and hurt you, so he is now a dead man!"

Heather grabbed her axe and was about to march out

"Heather what the hell are you talking about? Hiccup hasn't hurt me!" She said as she grabbed heathers arm, stopping her from leaving

"Then how the hell do you explain that giant bruise on your neck, no bruise gets that big by accident" she growled, getting ready to go on a murdering frenzy

Astrid suddenly realised that her braided pony tail was no longer over her shoulder

"I have some explaining to do" she said

Heather lowered her axe and looked at astrid with a confused and curious look

Astrid sighed and lifted her head to the side to show a huge purple bruise on her neck, heather and ruffnut gasped

Heather couldn't believe her eyes "that is the biggest, purplest, most insane.........."

"Hiccy I have ever seen!" Ruffnut chimed in

Heather looked at the bruise on astrids neck and then looked at astrid who now looked shy and nervous

"Astrid?" Heather said "is it.................a hiccy?" She waited for astrid to respond

Astrid sughed and said "okay yes its a hiccy" turning her back and folding her arms

Heather spoke up "so does that mean you and hiccup................."

"HAD SEX!!!" ruffnut said loud enough for the entire stables to hear

Astrid sighed and didn't say a word, heather then came over and smiled, "took the two of you long enough" she laughed making astrid chuckle too

Astrid turned around and smiled "it happened when we went on a trip to the edge for old times sake, we found the old landing strip with the stables where we had our first kiss, and then when we found my old hut and it was almost as if we still lived there because everything was still perfectly pristine, especially...............my old bed, we started kissing and well it sort of got..........out of control" she finished and was blushing harder than ever

Heather chuckled and shook her head "well atleast you enjoyed yourself" she smirked

Ruffnut was now curious and piped up and said "so are there any other hiccies we dont know about?"

"Not that I'm going to show you because I'm pretty sure ill get in trouble for public indecency" she said

The three girls started laughing hysterically and talked the night away

Fair to say astrid was a lot more careful about where she let hiccup place his hiccies from this point forward
