No Face ~ Uta (Tokyo Ghoul) x Reader

Part 12

The next morning you found yourself lying in your own bed with a slight head ache, you sit up straight and looked over to your phone to check the time, it was 11:19 am. You rolled out of bed and stood up walking over to your mirror, you looked at yourself in the reflection and suddenly you started to recall what happened last night when you were waiting for Uta, a deep blush tinted your cheeks as you placed your hand on your neck to feel where his head had rested, but something was strange you could not remember if this was actually real or just a dream, you were sure that you waited for Uta to return home but on the other hand your mind was clouded if you really feel asleep on the couch...

You dressed and walked out towards the kitchen where you heard Uta talking on the phone, you stopped at the door and looked over to the couch where he was sitting with his pen and textbook, he had a customer call as much as you could figure out since he was talking about measures and stuff like that, you walked to the fridge and grabbed a (fav. taste)  milk shake, Uta ended his call shortly after and lied the phone away

"Good morning, did you sleep well?" he asked

"I did, just had a strange dream that's all" he played with his pen

"Really? what was it about?" your heartbeat increased

"Nothing important, it was just a dream" his eyes looked at yours

"Yeah...if you say so" it was kind of awkward this whole conversation since you were sure it actually happened but he seemed to treat you like it was just your dream

"Is it ok if I hang out with Hide today?" you asked, Uta stood up and walked towards you

"You hang out with him a lot lately" he picked up a cup and placed it under the coffee maker

"He helps me with my homework and his explanations are quiet good, well not as good as Kaneki's but I understand what he want's to tell me"

"Are you sure that's all?" his question confused you a little

"Yes... what should be the matter?" Uta could not control it but his heart was filled with jealousy for some reason because he knew that Hide was in your age and not bad looking

"Just make sure to watch out, you don't know what his true intentions might be" you placed the empty milk shake down and stepped a little closer to him

"What do you mean his true intentions?" Uta turned around and looked into your (eye color) orbs

"It's nothing... I just wanted to say be careful that's all" you nodded but you could see in his eyes that he actually wanted to say something else

"I will, I promise" he smiled and placed his hand on your head brushing it softly

"Good girl" he walked past you with his coffee and sit back down on the couch

"At what time you want me to be back?" Uta took the first sip of his freshly brewed coffee

"Before nightfall, it's dangerous to walk in the streets after dark" you nodded

"I will be on time" he smiled

"Should I make you dinner?"

"If it isn't to much trouble" you smiled shyly

"Alright, I'll make your favorite".

You meet up with Hide at a bakery, he had showed you your file from last time but in that file not all the information's were listed, after some hesitation you decided to trust him and tell him what had happened to you, not mentioning anything about Uta's kind, you just let him in the details about your past and what happened to your family, he was interested in your story and wanted to help you search for the truth, he promised you to look deeper into the files and collect more information from the CCG, as a mail boy he had access to all public rooms.
