No Face ~ Uta (Tokyo Ghoul) x Reader

Part 13

You had caught a could and stayed in bed for a few days to get better, you had a lot of time to think about all the stuff you figured out lately, Uta was taking care of your cold as best as he could with soups and teas, today he was busy with work though and left you alone for a few hours to make a delivery.

You were sleeping when the noise of the door bell woke you up, you rolled our of bed in your sleeping clothes (Shirt or PJ whatever you wear) and walked downstairs to answer his door, you reached the front and looked through the small hole in the door and saw a male person with a dark bob hair cut standing on the other side, you swallowed first but decided to let him in maybe he was waiting for Uta who should return any minute now

"Hello there, is the shop owner available?" he asked as he noticed your figure open the door, his eyes scanned you from head to toe as he noticed immediately that you were human

"H-He is currently out but should return any minute" he nodded not leaving your eyes

"I see... would it be to much trouble if I wait inside?" your pulse was speeding up and you were to scared to deny his request since he was probably a ghoul as well

"O-Of course, please come inside" you stepped away and let him enter the door

"Thank you... what was your name dear?" your body started shaking a little as he stopped at the door hem and looked at you

"I-It's (first name)" you whispered shyly

"What a lovely name, it suits you quiet well" he continued to walk and you closed the door carefully, you started to regret opening the door since this men seemed really strange and somehow dangerous, you followed him in the art room and he began examining Uta's masks

"Are you here for an appointment?" you asked carefully

"Actually I have some personal business to discuss" you nodded

"I-I see" you watched him as he walked around in the small room and looked at the masks

"Tell me, do you like masks?" you were confused by his question

"I-I... find them scary" he chuckled lightly

"Why is that? Their only fake faces nothing to be scared about" you felt something odd coming from him and you wanted to leave this room quickly

"I just don't like them" he started to pick up one of the masks on Uta's wall and placed it on his face

"What's not to like? Can't you see the beauty of them? The beauty to have a different face and a different identity? No one can tell who you really are" he scared you with his talking and you slowly walked close to the door

"D-Do you want a coffee to pass the waiting time?" you offered changing the subject

"How delightful of you, I take that kind offer of course" you nodded and started making your way upstairs to prepare the coffee.

He stayed downstairs until you returned with the cup, you placed it on the table and stepped back

"Thank you (first name) this really carves out the aroma" you nodded slowly

"I hope it tastes alright" he chuckled

"Don't worry about that...I am pretty sure it tastes fantastic" his eyes pierced yours as he sipped on the coffee, goosebumps started to spread on your body as he continued to fix his eyes on you

"Tell me something (first name)... what is your relationship with Uta?" his question was strange and you did not really know what to say to him

"Uhh... I... he is the boyfriend of my sister who is currently living in England" you lied pathetic

"I see the boyfriend of your sister... how interesting" he smiled as he took another sip

"Have you ever seen him in his ghoul form?" your blood froze slowly in your veins

"N-No I haven't" he chuckled

"I think you would be impressed to see him in action, he is quiet amazing once he gets into the right mood, his specialty is to torture people and carve out their eyeballs" cold shivers run down your spine as he told you about Uta's ghoul side

"Hahaha, don't make that face it's quiet normal that ghouls do this sort of things, it's in their nature, but to be honest we do really enjoy it from time to time though since there is no law that can judge us..."

"You seem to know him very well" he chuckled again

"I actually do, I am part of the same organization as he so we have to know everything of each other" your heart skipped a beat as he said the word organization, you started to remember the files where the names of the ghouls were listed that took part in the incident of your parents

"W-What organization?" you asked curious but still scared to hear his answer

"Why so interested all over sudden? Did I surprise you this much with Uta's real life?" you stayed quiet and looked at the ground, suddenly he placed down his cup and walked a few steps closer to you

"Have we met somewhere before? You look so familiar for some reason" your heartbeat increased by his question and you started to think back if you also met him before somewhere

"I-I don't know if we met before, maybe somewhere on the street passing by?" he stopped in front of you and looked in your eyes

"No that's not it... I would have remembered that since your scent it quiet addicting... I would probably have taken you if that was the case" his comment scared the hell out of you and you started to shake on your entire body from fear, he noticed your uneasiness and smiled

"What's the matter? Do I scare you with such words?" you stepped back trying to avoid his gaze but he grabbed your wrist

"You make a fatal mistake if you try to run away now" his laughing echoed in your ears and you were sure you heard it before, you reached behind your back and grabbed the spray can Uta gave you for self protection and prepared it in your hand

"I understand now... hahah that bastard... how could he keep this a secret from me... I think I have some serious words to discuss with him when he shows up... but until then, why don't we pass the time with some fun?" you pulled the bottle out and sprayed a dose of that can right in his eyes, he let go off your wrist and stepped back rubbing his eyes in pain whimpering

"FUCK WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME!?" he cursed trying to clear his vision, you were frozen in place watching him suffer from the effects of the can, his kagune suddenly shoot out of his lower back and he glared at you with only one activated kakugan eye

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU BITCH!" you dropped the spray can as he charged towards you

"I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR BODY TO TINY SHREDS AND EAT IT!" in just the right moment Uta stepped between you and Furuta's kagune, it pierced his belly with it making your eyes widen in shock, blood started to drop to the floor as you started screaming in panic

"UTA!"
