(They held Clementine and the others in the Howes Hardware Store or Carver's Camp. Troy lead them inside of their rest area like a prisoners. As the group chatting. Clementine check on Rebecca. Then she saw Nick and Joy sitting on the bed while Joy was checking Nick's left cheek)

*Nick: Its fine. I'm fine babe

*Joy: Are you sure?

*Nick: Yeah. This is nothing. I won't let anyone touch you. That a**hole Troy. I swear if I wasn't tied back there. I will beat the sh*t out of him.

*Clementine: Is everything alright?

*Nick: Its fine. I know Luke will be back.

*Clementine: me too. He never leave you guys

*Nick: Us guys you mean. I've know him for 20 years. He's smart. Smarter than me thats for sure. Now go get some sleep. I'm sure they will be ridding' our a**ses tomorrow for sure.

*Clementine: okay

*Nick: Come on Joy. Let's sleep. Don't worry. It has nore space

*Joy: okay

(Joy leans her head on Nick's left arm)

*Joy: I've never been so close with another people like this. All of the people on your group was helping each other out. Like a whole family. That I never felt...You're lucky to have such great friends

*Nick: yeah... You're right (he grabs her right hand and grips it softly) Every time I held your hand. I always felt calm. I wish... This will lasts... Forever.

(They both turn and face each other)

*Nick: listen, I know we're in this sh*tty situation. And I want you to know...that when my time comes... Forget the stupid f*cked up things that I've done. I always screwing everything. But I didn't ask for any of this.

*Joy: You're doing everything fine Nick. Don't worry. I'll stay by your side.

*Nick: you're too kind

*Joy: Because, I love you

(They both kissed at each other)

*Nick: goodnight

*Joy: goodnight 😊

(The Next Day. Joy and Nick were assigned to patch the walls on the left side of the area. Nick carries the planks and bucket of nails while Joy was carrying the hammers. Vince was assigned to watch them)

*Joy: are you okay? That stuff is too heavy

*Nick: nah its alright. Besides men should do the heavy work

*Vince: Hey Nick. This young woman. Is she new to your group. I've never seen her with you guys before

*Joy: I'm new here

*Vince: I'm not like Carver at all but. I'll leave you guys for a while. I'll go check up on you later. But do your jobs

*Nick: kay, I guess

(That Noon. Nick and Joy finished doing their work)

*Joy: Its done.

*Nick: and Vince didn't come back here yet. (He sat down on the crates) . . . I was thinking of something

*Joy: what is it?

*Nick: Vince ain't coming back to check us. We've been here for 10 hours.

*Joy: we should rest for a bit. We've been working our a**es around here
