Hunter... The guy that basically tried to control me and everything that I did. If he saw me with Luke, he must be close. I dialed Hannah's number while quickly trying to leave the parking lot. Hannah picked up on the fifth ring.
"Hey girl! Is the lunch date over?" Hannah asked.
"It wasn't a date, firstly. Secondly, I think Hunter found me." I quickly explained.
"What?! How do you know?" Hannah asked.
"I got an unknown text and it said you are mine and you always will be and such." I said.
"Luckily, I got off work now. I meet you at your house."
"Thanks." I then hung up.
As I sat at a red light, I rubbed my hand through my hair. Why does this happen? Just as I was getting closer to Luke again, Hunter pops up. I bit my lip as I stared at the stop light. Soon as the light turned green, I pressed the gas pedal and tried to get home.
--
When I pulled up into my driveway, Hannah got out of her car. "Did you see him?" Hannah asked as I hopped out. I shook my head as I unlocked the front door and walked inside. I locked the door once we were inside.
"I am terrified right now. I don't know how he got my number." I rubbed my hand against my forehead. Hannah placed both of her hands against my shoulders.
"Calm down, why don't you call Luke or something?" Hannah asked.
"I don't want Luke to get into this. He is a well known country artist and he does not need drama to be trending online and whatnot." I told Hannah.
"Well, you can't be here by yourself if he knows where you are." Hannah exclaimed. I looked out the window to see if there were any cars or something on the side of the road. Any sign of Hunter.
"Stay with your sister." Hannah suggested. "I am not putting them and my two year old nephew in danger." I told her.
Hannah crossed her arms. "Ethan is there. He is a police officer. He can do something." Hannah offered. "Luke is off for a few months after his tour. His new tour begins in May. I'll be okay." I said.
"I don't care what you say. I am staying here tonight. Just to make sure your safe." Hannah said. "Now, I am calling Derek to let him know." Hannah added grabbing her phone and walking somewhere to talk privately. I sighed.
-----
"The last show of Kill The lights is tomorrow night. I was wondering if you would like to come out and watch?" Luke asked. I was in my bedroom laying on my bed talking on the phone to Luke. Hannah was in the guest room beside me sleeping probably. I still don't feel safe even though I know Hannah is here.
"That sounds fun. I just need to find the money to fly me out." I replied.
"I fly you out. Don't worry and I will also pick you up from the airport." Luke said.
"You don't have to do that. I will feel bad." I told him.
"Why, darling? I'm doing it because you are my best friend." He whispered something at the end that I couldn't hear.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Oh, um, nothing. I just wanna see you again." Luke said, sounding a little nervous. As we were talking, I heard a loud crash. I jumped. "What was that?" Luke asked.
"Nothing, I call you back later." I quickly said before hanging up. I ran out of my room and Hannah did the same thing. "What was that?" I asked Hannah.
I was about to go downstairs but Hannah stopped me. "Are you crazy?" Hannah asked. "I need to know what that was." I told her. I walked downstairs and Hannah followed. Nothing seemed to be broken. I opened the door and peaked my head outside. There was a brick on my porch. Someone tried throwing it against my door. There was also something written on the brick in sharpie.
I picked it up before coming back inside. I turned the brick around and read it.
You know who your dealing with...
