From what Ruka told me, Hana came back home the other day. I had seen her the next morning for her point to be proven. I guess her parents had feared that their younger daughter was alone with her aunt, with a man following them. Also, she claimed she had missed her parents.

Though, she looked much happier. The dark bags underneath her eyes were now gone and her smile began brighter. Even her attitude was better.

" How are you doing Hana?" I asked.

" Feeling better," she replied. " I was fine at my aunt's house, but Mom and Dad wanted me back home."

" I'm sure it was because they missed you."

" That's what they said." She turned around to face me. " Do you know the reason why Mom and Dad wanted me back home? Everything was fine with my aunt, but she started getting worried after my mom called her. Do you know what happened?"

I don't know why, but I feared telling her the reason. Hana wasn't the kind of person to understand right away, and was afraid easily. Also, telling her that someone is watching them, is not something you tell a little girl.

" Well...I know it was because they missed you. My parents would react the same way if I was gone for too long."

" They would?"

I nodded, and she went back to her work. She seemed happy enough. By then, Ayumi and Yoshiki came through the door along with the twins. They said they had wanted to talk to the police earlier, and asked me to watch Hana in case.

" How was she?" Yoshiki asked.

" Just fine."

" I hope we weren't out for too long. We didn't plan on staying there," Ayumi explained.

" No, you weren't. Hana was just asking questions is all."

" Questions?" Ruka asked. " What about?"

I looked over at Hana to see if she would say anything, but to my relief she didn't open her mouth. If she knew about what was happening, her parents would not be pleased in the slightest. Sometimes, it makes me want to go back and be a kid again. At least, none of this would be happening.

" It's almost dinner time. Anna, are you staying for dinner?" Yoshiki asked.

" I should be heading back home. My parents are starting to worry about me more because of all this. I don't think they would have forgiven me."

" Nonsense, I'll call them now," Ayumi said. It was nice to see her loosen up a bit. Maybe it was because she was in front of Hana that she tried to loosen up. It wasn't like she couldn't understand anything that was going on.
Ayumi ended up forcing me to stay, much to my parent's dismay. Though, it didn't seem like Dad had a problem with it, only Mom.

I had only had dinner at their place once in my life. It was because Ayumi was terrible at cooking. I vaguely remember the last time, but I think there was a fire involved and that Yoshiki had to make dinner. Which I hopefully he would do this time.

" I'm glad you stayed over Anna," Hana told me, grabbing my hand.

" For once, I am too. It was a good dinner, thank you for letting me stay."

" There is no need for a thank you," Ayumi said. " You have been helping us all this time."

" Help isn't the word I would use." More like a bother in their case.

" Hana, how about you go to bed now?" Yoshiki suggested. " You have school in the morning."

" Yeah, alright."
When she moved from the table, everyone became unsettling. It seemed like they didn't get through how they wanted.
