That group call was without a regret, epic. But I couldn't enjoy it completely because during the call, Julia kept texting me which prevented me from talking a whole lot in the call. She's been a lot to handle lately. I usually text Sadie for love advice. She makes me feel so much better. My stress and anxiety immediately goes away when I'm talking to her. I wanted to text her after the call to resolve conflicts I have with Julia but I'm sure she's sleeping.
So far, I'm celebrating endlessly because we don't have to worry about Caleb being such a jerk. Yes, we'll have more troubles coming our way but as long as we all work it out together, nothing can break our friendship apart. I mean even after two years, Millie is still our dearest friend so anything can happen if we all put our great minds to it. No matter where we are in this world or what happens to any of us, we can fix any dilemma, whether it's as tiny as a pebble to as humongous as an elephant.
I'm tired yet I'm not sleeping anytime soon, because I can never over the fact Millie was in the call! Even Finn. I was so elated and eager to talk to them once again. Good thing Finn is coming back to school tomorrow morning. Can't wait to catch up with everyone! Looks like we're back to normal. Just the way everyone wants it.
Millie
Someone tapped me on my shoulder and I opened my eyes slowly, squinting at who it was. My mother continuously tapped me until she saw me smiling faintly. She whispered, "It's a beautiful day today. Get ready to go to California." I almost forgot about that. My mother exited the room in an orderly fashion, unlike my attitude towards this. I stood up to shut the door and play music on full blast on my record player.
I listened and sang along to various amounts of songs, ranging from artists such as Lady Gaga to Adele. This lasted for about 15 minutes once I got ready and grabbed my breakfast salad with so much happiness, I almost dropped my bowl. I consumed the salad so fast that I felt the urge to get more. I knew there wasn't enough time because my flight might miss. I'm not willing to take that risk today.
After I devoured my salad to treat my famished self, I hurried up to the bathroom to do a tad bit of makeup in case of random paparazzi and brushed my teeth thoroughly. I forgot to turn the music off but at the same time, I chose not to because I'm still in the mood for singing. I danced a little bit, wearing my white, dainty dress. I liked how petite it looked. I paired it with some pitch black shoes and a sparkly snow white ribbon in my hair.
Quickly, I went back to my room for a quick fix up and pulled out the handle to hold my luggage. My mother suddenly called me to notify that we need to go. As we headed for the door in a somewhat sprint, my dad waved goodbye and I rushed to hug him. Running out of breath from jogging to the car with my mom in the driver's seat, I got my phone out of my pocket to listen to more music. I was panting, however, so I had to put the music on maximum volume. Wow. I'm so out of shape.
We drove away from our humble home as I whispered, "Goodbye home." I lived there for a while now so I have to adjust to the new environment in Los Angeles, California. It was saddening to know I'm leaving home but I'm sure my dad and my dogs will come to California, sell the house in London, and come live here. The time will come for that. For now, I need to enjoy this wonderful experience. I can catch sleep on the plane if I truly need to.
After what seemed like hours of driving all the way to the airport, we finally arrived as I cheered. I couldn't control these amazing feelings I have right now. I'm about to reunite with my second family! How can I not be so excited? As we got out of the car to unload a few things I put on my hoodie so that in case cameras show up out of nowhere, I'm prepared. These pictures cannot spread out to the entire world just yet. My surprise can't be revealed. They mustn't ruin it for me.
My mother had an instinct I was trying to hurry up a ton, so she did as well. We rushed to the airplane to go to our first-class seats. We got a few looks but no camera flashes. Thank God! As soon as we got to the front of the airplane, I smiled from relief. My mother sat beside me, huffing and puffing to take in air. Sprinting from one place to another is a nightmare. Two yards for her feels like a marathon. But she's not alone. I inherited her genes, obviously.
Finn
Nick sat in the front seat to drive and I positioned myself right beside him. I just looked out the window because of boredom. "Hey," my brother said turning his attention to me. "At least look somewhat enthusiastic." I smiled a little and screamed, "Yay!" Nick backed the car out of the garage to go to the video game store with me.
As soon as we arrived, I ran across the street to take a look. I get overwhelmed and excited whenever I see new video games out. I skimmed through each and every one while Nick roamed around the store as well. I admired the new consoles available until Nick grabbed me by the arm to the sale section. Over there I found a lot of vintage games like Mario Kart and even Nintendogs. I chuckled so hard. Nick then looked at me in awe. He looked like he just won the lottery or something.
"Finn," he slightly whispered. "Look what I found." He took out from a torn out basket, a Nintendo Switch, which is a pretty classic video game console that was sold about two years ago. It's not ancient or anything but it brings back the memorable past. I remember when I received one before because Nintendo sponsored me. I can picture very clearly what I was feeling that day. It was such a lucky and honorable day for me. How can I forget it?
I'm sure my Nintendo Switch is somewhere hidden in the depths of our basement. But, I'll look for it later. I started to head out the door. I felt tired still. After all, I didn't get any sleep last night. It was actually fun hanging out with Nick. It's oddly rare that Nick takes me out because of kindness. I love it but I shouldn't get used to this.
Nick, who grinned at me, showed me his new video game he bought. It was Final Fantasy XIX. I have so many questions as to how and when he bought that. I didn't even see him buy it. It's official. My brother's a ninja. "Sweet!" I said with a slight feeling of jealousy. But I knew if he was doing multiplayer, I can play with him.
We got home and my brother immediately went to the basement, determined to play his game. I wanted to play but of course, I'm feeling weak. I want to sleep. I can play with him after school on Monday I guess. I headed to my room and sat down filled with exhaustion. It was a simple, yet pleasant day. If only I can handle an all-nighter. Don't get me wrong. I loved talking with my friends. It's honestly all worth it. Especially if Millie is there. I just wish I could handle no sleep for a day. I can't even last half a day without sleep.
I usually have anxiety and panic attacks when I stress myself too much so I thought it's best to just rest for a little while. School will be the death of me but I have to last the dreadful eight hours. Then, I can play that awesome video game. Maybe even hang out with the boys later. And Sadie of course. For now, I need my beauty sleep. "Goodnight Nick," I said to Nick, who was paying all of his attention to the television screen. I headed to my room and fell into a deep, but marvelous sleep.

Forgive me for a short chapter. But thank you for 1.1k reads! That's insane, oh my gosh. I only update like once a week now. I'm trying to do it twice but I'm lacking time. I cannot balance my busy schedule equally so I'm sorry. Every Friday comes a new chapter, though. That I can manage. Thank you again for the votes, comments, and just everything.
