If you have a friend who tells you they have a crush on you, there are a few things you can do. You can reject them as a friend and never interact with them again, but that's a really dumb thing to do.
What I suggest doing is being 100% honest, right away. If don't like them due to your sexuality, tell them. If you don't think you're mentally or emotionally ready for a relationship, tell them. If you legitimately think that you two would be better just as friend or you just don't like them romantically (i.e. Friend Zone), let them know that you care for them as a friend.
