-----(Y/N)'S POV-----

I let out a held breath as I close the front door of mine and Natsu's residence. I fight back the tears streaming down my face. It was the next morning and I was bidding my silent farewells to Natsu. I knew I had to leave early otherwise he'd follow me, or track my scent.

I walked away with Popi resting on my shoulder, I didn't even get to say goodbye to my family. To the guild. I left a letter behind for Gramps to read out to the guild and a letter for Natsu to read for himself. I was breaking our promise of staying together by his side. I knew that and that's what hurt the most.

It was a good thing I lived on the borders of Magnolia so to flee the city wasn't too hard. I walked through the forest, the rising sun lighting up the pathway I took. I looked down onto my city I called home for four years, my heart aching.

It had to be done.

I wipe the last of my tears letting the wind glide through my hair, "(Y/N)," Popi whispers in concern. Her tone of voice was sad, she hated seeing me upset for I was such a strong mage-some people in the guild had never seen me cry since the day I came.

"I'm fine," I smile, my voice cracking a bit as I placed a hand onto my heart.

Fairy Tail, I'll be home soon.

I open my eyes seeing the tall mountains I knew I had to cross over, "Let's go slay a dragon Popi."

-----NATSU'S POV-----

I woke up to the slam of my front door opening, I cuss loudly sitting upright a pissed off looking Gray storms into the house.

"Natsu what did you do?!" he screamed.

"What the hell are you going on about?! I just woke up Popsicle Breath!"

He pulls me out of my hammock by my scarf, snarling at me. The anger boils inside me as he continues to raise his voice at me, "You know exactly what's up! Don't you think you've both taken it too far with the fighting?!"

"LOOK WHO'S TALKING?!"

Out of nowhere Erza storms in punching the both of us on the crown of our heads. I groan in pain falling to the floor alongside Gray, "Shut up Gray! He doesn't know yet," Erza's voice echoes through the clouds.

I etch my brows in confusion, "Know what?"

"Natsuuu," Happy whines flying down the stairs from (Y/N)'s part of the house, "(Y/N)'s not here and neither is Popi."

"They never beat us out of bed unless they make breakfast," I state as Happy comes closer to me. He hands me a small piece of paper which read 'Head to the guild'.

"Head to the guild?" I recite as Gray and Erza look to the floor. What's going on?

"We'll meet you there okay?" Erza's attitude alters into somewhat care and compassion as she pulls on Gray's ear dragging him out of the house. Haha sucker.

I get ready, starving because usually (Y/N) makes breakfast for us or leaves our share on the counter if we sleep in. But there was no food this time.

I make my way to the guild with Happy flying beside me, not smelling (Y/N)'s scent. She must've woken up really early then.

I enter the guild as I'm met by sad looks from the guild as Gramps stands on the railing of the S-Class floor overlooking the guild.

"My children listen up!"
