---3RD PERSON'S POV---

Recap:

You speak up, "Wendy if you get scared that's okay."

"What are you talking about?" Wendy stammers.

"This might get ugly."

"Natsu get back!" you warn him.

If Faust wanted to see the true extent of your power, that's exactly what he's going to get.

Your sharp nails dig into the ground, heavy grunts escaping your lips. Your eyes look up to Faust, seeing red. Your magic power cleanses your skin, the other Dragon Slayers feeling it.

It taps Natsu, immediately tensing, "(Y/N)...are you sure you're okay to do that?"

Natsu, usually a confident and determined Dragon Slayer, there was barely a moment when he was afraid. He was afraid of two things-well two people; Erza and you. More or less, the other you hidden inside. There was once a time when he wasn't afraid of you, Natsu glanced at the imprinted scar down your eye, reminded of the day he first feared you.

---flashback---

You and Natsu were just two young kids, training with your dragons, before the days of Fairy Tail. You were reaching your last days of learning Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, feeling confident in your new skills as a Dragon Slayer's royal heir. You had to master the five types to even start utilising Nature Dragon Slayer Magic and it excited you knowing you were so close to beginning that new adventure alongside your mother, Queen Sanda of the Nature Dragons. The dragons who wield the power of creation and destruction of living things.

Your feet succumbed to the riverside up to the middle of your calves. Sat by a river, the damp grass tickled your thighs and your lower legs enjoyed the coolness of the water. You sigh to yourself in content, feeling relaxed, "So nice and peaceful today."

However, since Natsu entered your life-all peacefulness tends to cut short. A loud screaming echoed from behind you as a heavy weight colliding against your back sent you flying forward straight onto the deep river. You splashed against the river's surface, swimming to the top. You spit out the water that entered your mouth, your body heating up in anger as steam appeared around your skin.

"What was that for klutz?" You growled, standing atop of the river's surface. Natsu stands back on his feet, back covered in wet grass, "(Y/N) let's fight! Before you leave I want to prove I'm the strongest."

You snarled your teeth, extremely pissed off, "Oh we will fight because I didn't want to get soaked today moron!"

You jumped off the water's surface in the sky, filling your lungs with water, sending a Water Dragon's Roar his way. You watch the attack hit him directly, Natsu was struck by the strong water's current as he rolled back like a ball. He jumps back on his feet, flailing his arms about as you land on the floor, "No fair I didn't say you could start yet cheater!"

"There is no start for a fight unless it's staged," you retort, "now come at me pinkie."

"Don't call me pinkie...you...you royal pain!"

"Well I just did Flame Breath," you roll your eyes, fed up with him. Natsu runs towards you, igniting his fist. You cross your arms and slide one leg back to absorb the hit. As he strikes, you notice his legs vulnerable. You twist on your ankle, raising your leg to kick him into the side. He fights back, the two of you no longer using magic, instead, it was now just physical punches and kicks bouncing off each other almost never-ending.
