---3RD PERSON'S POV---

Popi felt a surge of courage rush through her feline veins after Happy's outburst. She knew that the decision she made now will never be forgiven. She stood up, and wrapped her lemon paws around Happy and Carla's. With a turn, she took a deep breath and exclaimed, "Come on! We're out of here!"

The two Exceeds followed behind her and traced her footsteps as she guided them through Extalia. After taking her first step in the opposite direction, Popi made the courageous decision to become a Fallen. Her feisty attitude she'd finally let loose after three years made her drag the other two felines into it.

"I'm not making the same mistake twice," Popi exclaimed loudly, "We're not abandoning our friends."

Her mind raced back to (Y/N); she abandoned her that day through to today. Popi could've escaped years ago and find her-heck, she could've been a better partner and give her the support she needed when taking down Acnologia. But instead, in fear, she watched the Nature Dragon Slayer shed her blood and cry in pain. Unknowingly, she had been tortured these last few years-perhaps that's worse than death. It's certainly more painful.

The running continued, Happy and Carla still being dragged along by the now ex-Strategist of Extalia.

"(Y/N)...Natsu...Wendy," Popi whispered and then shouted, "I promise we'll save you all!"

Carla looked at the lemon Exceed in amazement, she just met the girl and already saw the bond between them as strong and loving. Carla saw Wendy's sadness when they met (Y/N)'s alternate self and the pain Carla's Dragon Slayer felt hit her to. (Y/N) was a part of Wendy's happiness; she was also a part of Popi's happiness. Carla and Popi, the female Exceeds had to stay together from now and forevermore.

"They're Fallen Exceeds!" Nichiya yelled throughout the corridors with a ridiculous pose. Nadi looks nervous and startled and turns to the guards, "I see they've been taken by the abominable essence of Earth Land and lost their divinity."

The command echoes through the hallways, making Popi's heart beat accelerate dramatically from the adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"Three Fallen Exceeds are on the loose in this city. Hunt them down!"

After hiding away and accepting who they are. The three Exceeds flew towards the castle; their wings finally sprouting. Popi fumbled a little, after all, it's been three years since she last flew. Regaining her balance falling beside Happy and Carla she saw the determination and courage on their faces. They were determined to save Wendy and Natsu, and (Y/N) to.

Popi wanted to save (Y/N), for as long as she lived in Earth Land, (Y/N) was always saving her from trouble. When she nearly drowned by the river learning to swim, almost falling off a cliff learning to fly and on missions that went wrong and she was held captive. The Mage always saved her partner. But this time, it was her turn.

"The Royal City," Happy declared glancing further down the floating islands.

There stood the castle, a beautiful dark castle full of riches and mystery. Popi calculates they must be held in there, mentally scolding herself that (Y/N) had always been underneath her nose for years on end.
