Ever since you were little, you've always had Their appearance stuck in your head. You knew how They looked, even more so than you knew your own even!

There wouldn't be a day where you wouldn't have drawn Them. Anywhere, everywhere, They just wouldn't leave your mind at all.

A sense of familiarity always washes over you whenever you think of Them, like how you would a friend.

(But really now, that couldn't be it. Afterall, They were just a figment of your younger self's imagination; someone you made up, right?

Right?)

The habit continued on through the years, you still couldn't get Them out of your head.

And one day, a new student arrives at your class. You don't care to notice at first. It's norm here and besides, you were still finishing another doodle of Th--

"Hey there!"

Your head snaps upwards quickly(ow, ow, ow my nECK--) and your eyes widen. Your breath hitches and you choke back a gasp because that's exactly how you heard Them in your head--

"Hope we'll all get along nicely!" The new student grins. A grin too familiar because--

"You..."

The transfer looks just like Them!

more shorter ones kek

1 - Their rival for their love's affection is said love's fckng cat. And considering how weird their life has been, they're not entirely sure if this is a new low for them or not.

2 - "Hey, wait! Come back!"

"Hah, why bother? It's not like anyone wants me there. No one wants me anywhere!"

"I want you to be there!"

...what?

3 - She had always loved ruffling his hair. He had no idea why, though. A lot of the times it was pretty awkward for him considering she was a full head shorter than him. She had to stand on her tippy-toes for crying out loud!

The first few time she'd done he had done nothing. He figured that it was just going to be something in passing and that she'll get bored of ruffling his hair after a few days.

He was dead wrong.

If anything, it got worse. Sure sometimes he would berate her in jest (then she'll stick her tongue out at him childishly) but he couldn't really ask her to stop.

("For Petezahut's sake, quit it!"

She giggles. "Your alternatives get funnier each time!")

Every time he did ACTUALLY try to, however, failed because he'd just take a look at her happy and content face and the words get stuck in his throat.

(And maybe, he admits, that he actually finds liking it himself, loving the touch of her soft and warm hand.

Damn, now he understands why dogs liked being pet so much. It felt amazing.)

Despite of it all, he let her continue this little quirk of hers. Afterall, it did put a happy and lovely smile on her beautiful face.

(Well hot damn, he fell for her. So. Hard.)

^ lol this isn't that short tho

4 - "I just don't understand why you're so damn selfless!"

They've pushed themselves too hard and it was wearing them down, damnit. Someone had to remind them that they could afford to be selfish every once and a while.

my mind is p much a breeding place for plunnies lolol
