TORD'S POV

Tom lied strapped to the medical bed in my small testing room. He was going to be my little rodent for a new experiment I was going to use. The substance should make the organs in the body break down in a manner of a day, it was successful with mice, birds, and even pigs so far. So, why not try it on my enemy who took my arm?

Tom's eyes fluttered open, and he automatically started to thrash around on the bed. The restraints held tightly on his arms and legs, causing a slight rope burn on his skin. He looked over at me.

"TORD! I KNEW THIS HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOU, COMMIE!"

I chuckled, getting the substance into the needle. Tom's 'eyes' widened as he desperately tried to get away, but failing.

"You should have just left,Tom. Things didn't have to be this way~"

I smiled, jabbing (SUCH A VIOLENT WORD!) the needle in his vein. He screamed, and I walked out.

"I'll check on you tomorrow!~"

DAY ONE:

I walked in, flicking on the light switch. I was surprised to see Tom, still lying there, trying to get away. His skin, although did look a bit more...green? Pfft, I suppose it's nothing at the moment. I set a bowl of soup and a glass of water on the table beside me. I grabbed a clip board, ready to write things down.

"Ah, Tom! I see you're still alive. How do you feel?"

He glared at me, "Like shit!"

" I suppose that's normal for you. Anyways, when I first injected you, what did it feel like? "

Tom didn't respond, and only growled.

"Let me ask you one more time. What did it feel like?"

" It felt like my blood stream was on fire. "

I wrote some notes down on the paper. Then I attempted to feed Tom. He was stubborn at first, not opening his mouth, trying to spit it out, etc. It wasn't until his hunger got the best of him that he actually started eating. That made me know he still had hunger. Such pity, looks like he'll slowly have to die due to the poison.

DAY THREE:

(Yes, I know I skipped day two.)

I looked down at the report one of my soldier's made about Tom's health the second day:

• Refused to eat.

• Didn't respond

• Skin looks of a mint green

• Couldn't move.

• Foam coming from mouth.
Color: Grey-ish white

Hmmm.... Looks like the poison is actually getting to him.... but why is it taking so long? I walked in, turning the light on. Tom lied motionless on the bed. I walked up, checking for a pulse on his wrist. He twitched, I backed up examining him. I wrote some notes down for day 3:

• Looks more slender, with rapid amount of weight loss

• Slightly reacts to-

I stopped writing as Tom started violently thrashing around, the foam seeping out of his mouth. He let out an ear piercing scream, as I smiled. By tomorrow, for sure, he'd be dead.

Day 5:

(Yup, I skipped another day. Deal with it.)

Oddly, I didn't get a report yesterday from my usual soldier who checked up on our experiments. I walked down the hall, stopping in front of the door. I heard low growling, and the light was still on. I opened the door to reveal my soldier lying dead on the ground. Tom sat in the corner of the room, with his back to me. I glanced down at one of my best soldier's bodies. Scratch and bit wounds all over the neck, chest, and face. Damn. I looked over at Tom, did he do this? His skin looked extremely green, along with his very slim figure. He rocked back and forth, growling lowly. Blood covered the room, which was luckily mostly red anyways. I cautiously grabbed my walkie-talkie speaking into it.

"Code Blue, soldier down on health room 294 of facility 3, I repeat Code Blue, soldier down on health room 294 of facility 3."

Tom twitched, as the boots of soldiers where heard running down the halls. I exited the room, as I heard a high pitch screech. My soldiers ran in there, trying to take care of the job. I carelessly walked down to my room, resting my head on my desk.

DAY 7:

I've made a HUGE mistake. Tom wasn't only dead, he was the undead. When my soldiers had came in to collect him and the 'dead' soldier, they had infected more than half of the soldiers that had entered. Over half my base was infected now, and since the base was on lock down, no one could get out. My room was barricaded, as I heard more gunshots and the screaming of those horrid creatures. Now, because of my careless actions, my army was in rubble, along with the helpless people of the world.

(A/N) I actually liked writing this one. I don't know why :')
