jUST A BOOK?!{Tom X Reader}

(Y/N) sniffled, holding their (laptop/tablet/computer/phone) close to their chest.
They had been reading some Eddsworld Fanfiction, that had ended very sadly. Edd had died of cancer , Tom Tord and themself had left, only leaving Matt to pick up the pieces.
Tears rolled down their cheeks as Tom, their boyfriend, walked in. He looked at them questioningly, sitting down beside them.

"...Everything alright,(N/N)?"

They shook their head, setting the electronic aside. They quickly summed up how everything was going well and all that jazz, but in the middle of making a second part of an animation, Edd's cancer came back. Tord, had already left of course, just leaving the 4. All of them were very certain Edd would over come it again, but sadly they were wrong. Tom and (Y/N) couldn't take it, and they left together pursing a youtube channel together that was mostly comedy. Matt, however, after a while had to pick up the pieces of Eddsworld, with Edd's mom's help.

Tom sighed, wrapping his arm around (Y/N), giving them a reassuring hug.

"..Well... At least it was just a book."

(Y/N) let out a offended scoff, pushing away from Tom, "jUST A BOOK?! EXCUSE ME, MISTER RIDGEFIELD, IT WAS NOT JUST A BOOK-"

(Y/N) continued ranting loudly as Tom sighed, standing up. He walked over by them, grabbing their shoulders and bringing them into a passionate kiss.
He pulled away, leaving (Y/N) with a bright blush.

"Better?"

" .....better. "
