3. Maid of honor?

Maggie's pov

The next day, Alex and I went to the DEO. J'onn hired me again when he heard that Alex and I were back together. Yesterday, we decided to keep our engagement to ourselves, we didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Unfortunately, Kara notices everything.

"Hey, lovebirds. How are you two doing today?" Kara excitedly asked.

"We're fine, Kara. Everything is good." I said.

"And what do I see on your finger, Alex? Is that an engagement ring?" she curiously asked.

"No, it's just a ring. Maggie bought it as a present for me."

"I know when you're lying, Alex Danvers. That is definitely an engagement ring!"

"Okay, you caught me... Maggie proposed last night and I said yes, we're officially engaged again." Alex said, while pulling me into a kiss.

"Oh my god! Congatulations!" Kara said. "Hey, guys." she yelled at Mon- El, James, Winn and J'onn, who were standing a few metres further.

"What is it, Kara?" J'onn asked.

"Alex and Maggie are getting married again."

"Congratulations." everybody answered.

"This time is for real." Alex joked.

"I love you so much, babe." I said, while smiling from ear to ear.

"I love you too."

Kara's pov

Maggie, Alex and I went out for a drink to celebrate. They wanted to ask me something important.

"Have you told Mom and Dad about the news?"

"Yes, I called them last night. They were very happy about this, Mom knew I would fall in love with Maggie again." Alex said.

"That's great. I'm picturing you in a beautiful wedding dress and Maggie in a magical suit. She's waiting at the altar for you to come stand beside her, finally getting married."

"We actually want to ask you something." Maggie said.

"Sure, ask me anything." I answered.

"A few months ago, I said that we want you in our life. That's why I am asking to be my maid of honor." Alex asked.

"Yes!" I yelled. "Of course, I'll be the best bridesmaid in history, you have my word on that!"

"You will not disappoint us, I'm certain about that."

"Let's toast on a beautiful wedding and marriage!" I joyfully said, while raising my glass.

"Cheers!" Alex and Maggie said.
