8. Save me

Maggie's pov

I had to take a minute before I realized what happened. Charlotte just shot my wife!

"You idiot?! What have you done!" I screamed. I ran to Charlotte and started hitting her. She fell to the ground and I kept going. Kara pulled me off Charlotte.

"Maggie, that's enough! Somebody, call an ambulance!" she yelled to Jeremiah, while holding me back.

I turned around and saw Alex in a pool of blood. I ran to her and held her hand. She was semiconcious and looking at her stomach where all the blood was coming from.

"Look at me, Alex. You're not going to die, stay with me." I said, while holding back my tears.

"It-it's okay, Maggie. I-I want you to know that I love you. It's okay, sweetie." she stuttered.

"No, stay with me. I need you so much, don't leave me."

"Do-do me one favor? Look after Kara for me, she'll need you." Alex begged, while coughing up blood.

"Hey! You are not going to die! The ambulance will be here in a few minutes, they'll save you. We're going to live happily ever after. This is not going to be over, you'll survive."

"Maggie... I'm going to die." she said.

"No, you have to live. You know why? You are my soulmate, and I can't live without you. We're going to start a family, with 2 kids. Kara can be an aunt to our children. We're going to be happy, Alex. You and me. We're going to have a happy life, you and me. That's why you can't die, baby. We're supposed to end up together, you and me for the rest of our lives. We're meant to be."

"M-Meant to be..." and she lost consciousness.
