The next day, I did what I usually do; stayed in my room and avoided everyone except for when I had mission to complete. Pein usually assigns me a mission with Tobi or Itachi, but I prefer to work alone. It's faster to get the job done when you're by yourself.

As usual, I heard Deidara and Sasori yelling at Tobi to shut up while Hidan was doing his ritual. "Can they be any more louder?" I mumbled to myself. I tried to drown out the noise by pressing the ends of my pillow against my ears, but it didn't work.

"Son of a bitch..." I threw the pillow to my side and sat up. "To hell with this. I'm going outside." I mumbled. I got out of bed and walked through the living room. "Eita, where are you going?" Konan asked.

"Away from all the noise. I'm not going far." I answered as I made my way towards the exit. I went outside and rested myself near a tree. The leaves from the branches stretched out and created some shade, so I didn't have to worry about the sun getting in my eyes.

"This is better. It's quiet." I said, quietly. I gazed at the clouds for a bit until I started to get drowsy. Finally, I fell asleep against the tree.

Itachi's POV

"Eita's been out there for a while. You think he finally ran off?" Kisame asked. 'I doubt that. Eita knows what would happen if he did.' I thought. "Who cares if ran off? About fucking time! I'm getting tired of that little fucker's attitude!" Hidan yelled.

"He's not that bad, Hidan. Give him a break." Deidara said.

"Not that bad?! You're kidding me, right? Ever since he got here, he's been nothing but a pain in the ass! Always giving us the cold shoulder when we haven't done a single thing to him! Hell, if I was the leader of this organization, I'd sacrifice his little ass to Jashin!" Hidan said.

I rolled my eyes and left the hideout to see if Eita really did escape. I didn't have to search for long as I found him laying beneath a tree, sleeping peacefully. Gray clouds began to cover the blue sky, signaling that it was about to rain.

Before the rain could start falling, I picked up the sleeping Eita and carried him inside the base. I managed to walk through the living room without the other members noticing me with Eita in my arms.

Once I got to his room, I placed Eita on his bed. I glanced back as I spotted Konan by the door with a worried look on her face. "He's fine. He just fell asleep outside." I informed. I left the room and headed to my own.

Eita's POV

"Eita~... Wakey-wakey, sleepyhead." I heard Inari's voice. "Five more minutes..." I mumbled. "But you've been asleep for over two hours." She whined. I sighed, sat up, and sleepily rubbed my eyes to wake myself up.

"What time is it?" I asked Inari. "I dunno. I'm going to sleep." She answered. I deadpanned. "She gets on my back about sleeping so late, and then she goes to sleep?" I mumbled. I yawned and noticed I was in my room.

"Wasn't I just outside? I guess Konan or Kisame brought me in here." I mumbled. I'm assuming it was Kisame, seeing how he's the strongest member in Akatsuki. "Man, it's hot in here." I said as I climbed out of my bed.

I took off my cloak and got changed into a thin white jacket shirt. I didn't bother buttoning up, leaving my torso exposed, and headed to the kitchen to get myself something to drink.

"Finally awake?"

I turned my head, spotting Itachi sitting on the couch. "Everyone went on a mission, including Konan and the leader... incase you were wondering why it was so quiet." Itachi informed.
