Marinette woke up on Adrien's laps and didn't notice it. She sat up straight and looked at the pond across from her. She crawled up to the pond, still not acknowledging Adrien's presence, and washed her face. Then she looked into the pond and saw a rather too familiar face right next to hers, in the reflection. She turned to her left quickly and looked at Adrien. Their faces were only inches apart, they stared into each others eyes. But then suddenly out of no where, the bush began to rustle and they directed their gaze and attention to the bush. Then two other faces appeared from behind the bush! Marinette and Adrien got startled and Marinette jumped onto Adrien's arms, while yelling and Adrien just stood there yelling which resulted to Marinette falling back down on the floor. "Ow!" She yelled. "Oh, sorry! Are you alright?" He questioned. "Yeah, yeah, whatever..." She crossed her arms, completely forgetting that there were two people right there! "Um..." Alya began. "What were you two doing here and why didn't any of you two answer my calls?" She asked. Nino simply nodded his head. "Well... Uh... I found her but... uh um... No signal...?" He smiled, sheepishly. Alya put on a confused and weirded out expression on her face and then face palmed. "No signal? Are you serious right now? What were you two doing?!" She practically yelled. Adrien blushed -knowing what he did while she was asleep-. Alya rubbed her temples and sighed. "Lets go guys... Lunch break was over a lesson ago..." Said Alya. Alya and Nino turned around and began walking towards the exit. Adrien was already up and held out his hand for Marinette to grab. She was hesitant but took his hand anyway. He helped her up and the second she got up, she snatched her hand away from his. He sighed and caught up with Nino and Alya.
On the way to school as the three teenagers in front of Marinette walked and talked, she was lost in thought. What if Chloe ruined her life because of what she did? Would Chloe shut down her bakery? That girl was capable of anything! Marinette started tearing up. Adrien must've noticed cause he looked back at her and ran over to her, though Nino and Alya still talked. He put his arm around Marinette's shoulder. She pushed his hands off of her and wiped her eyes and kept walking towards College Dupoint where she would meet her doom. . .
