Second Chances {Completed}

I told you so

Hey guys! I have my last exam this Thursday, so wish me luck! I finished my English, Math, Science and History exams. I still have French left and then. . . It's the end of eighth grade! (P.S I'm actually supposed to be studying but I love my readers -you guys- so I'll update during exam week!)

It was now the middle of the night. The boys were fast asleep but there girls were sitting on Marinette's bed, that would be on the floor. They had to be extremely quiet so that Adrien -who was to Marinette's left- wouldn't wake up. Marinette knew he'd get curious and ask dozens of questions before they could answer his first. So she preferred not to wake him up. 

"So what do you think she did?" Asked Marinette.

"I have no clue, but I know it's bad!" Whisper-yelled Alya.

Chloe shushed Alya and pointed to Adrien. Alya nodded and kept quiet. 

"We might find out tomorrow. I have a feeling Lila is going to do something tomorrow. I have no clue why but I usually go with my gut." Whispered Chloe.

They all kept as quiet as possible when Adrien began tossing and turning in his bed. They exchanged glances as he tossed and turned. But then something really awkward happened. They would probably never forget this. . .

"Marinette. . . I love. . ."

He didn't get to finish because then he began to snore.

Alya and Chloe giggled so much but Marinette's face was completely red. 'Was he dreaming about me?' She thought out loud, without realizing it. "Yeah, he was." Giggled Alya. "This is unforgettable!" Smiled Chloe. Marinette turned away from both of them. "Why now?" She mumbled. She turned back to them and they were both smiling childishly. Marinette internally groaned. "You're never going to forget this, are you?" Asked Marinette. "Never." Said Chloe and Alya in unison. "Weren't we having a super serious meeting?" Asked Marinette. "Not anymore!" Said Chloe. Alya was so close to laughing very loudly but Chloe and Marinette had to cover Alya's mouth. Alya really needed to learn how to whisper. 

The next day Alya, Marinette, Chloe, Nino and Adrien woke up to the sound of the door knocking extremely loudly. "What?" Groaned Nino. "Open the door! This is Mrs. Bustier! We have something urgent to tell you." Said Mrs. Bustier. Nino opened the door and saw Lila behind Mrs. Bustier. He already knew what was happening. "Um . . . Marinette, Chloe, Alya? I think this is your role now!" He said as he walked away from the door. Chloe groggily got up. Marinette sat up straight, still feeling very sleepy. Though Alya was extremely energetic. She rushed over to the door and smiled at Mrs. Bustier. Though her smile faded away the moment she saw who was behind her. Alya internally groaned and called for Marinette and Chloe. "Guys! We have visitors!" Said Alya. Marinette walked over to the door and her eyes widened. She knew she was going to be in so much trouble now. But Mrs. Bustier took no notice of her. Mrs. Bustier walked in and Marinette stepped aside and stood next to Alya. "Chloe Bourgeois! Lila told me that you put oil in her hair and turns out that you put oil in her perfume too! We all know you as a trouble maker but you have taken it too far this time!" Yelled Mrs. Bustier. "What are you taking about?!" Yelled Chloe, out of panic. "Don't play dumb! You're coming with me!" Said Mrs. Bustier as she grabbed Chloe's wrist and pulled her out of the room. Mrs. Bustier has never acted so violently before. What was wrong with her? Marinette looked at Alya and then at Nino and last at Adrien, who was very confused. "I did it. . ." She admitted. "I told you not to do it!" Said Adrien. "I know. . . I realize my mistake now. . ." She said as she looked down at her bare feet. "Why didn't you tell me?" Asked Alya. "I was worried that you might tell someone. . ." Said Marinette, still looking down. "Tell someone. . ?" Asked Alya, rather surprised. "Yes. I'm sorry Alya. Please don't be mad at me." Said Marinette as she looked up to face Alya. "It's alright. You're just getting used to trust people. I understand." Shrugged Alya. But she got so surprised when Marinette hugged her. Alya hugged back. But the hug was soon over once Marinette realized that Chloe might be sent home a whole four days early! Marinette would prefer that she be sent home rather than Chloe, who was innocent. Marinette ran out of the door yelling Mrs. Bustier's name. But Mrs. Buster, Chloe and Lila were nowhere to be found. . .
