Zombies in my life

The Roof

We all stood, looking at Robert. Everyone thought about it for a long time, ignoring all the commotion coming from outside.
"ARRRRRR WHAT THE FUDGE" we heard Deklen yell

"Deklen's awake" Robert told

"No shit Sherlock" Will replied

We quickly ran to the kitchen handing the knife to Will and telling him to guard the front door with his brother Matthew. Deklen was sitting up on the table looking down at the zombies corpse we killed earlier.

"Oh yeah" Robert said

"Opis we forgot about that" I added

Robert and I started to explain what was happening, about the zombies when we heard glass smashing from the other room. I quickly ran into the next room, and saw zombies breaking down the windows, there was at least a dozen or more.

"Time to go" i said "Robert get your brother of the table and take him to the back door, Matthew take this knife and help me if zombies come in"

"What??? Um.. ok" he replied

As Robert made his way to the back of the house holding Deklan up, Marco and Will ran ahead to find the back door. Matthew and I were standing in the arch way, waiting for the zombies to come in when suddenly we heard screaming coming from the back. We both turned and ran out to the back to find that there were zombies at the fence.

"The bag" I suddenly thought to myself

Turning around I ran inside, looking for the bag which had all our food in it. I found it under the kitchen table and tried to pick it up but realising it was a lot heavier then it looked, I had to take some books out and by the time all the books were out I realised two zombies had gotten in the house and both were walking in the kitchen I grabbed the biggest book and tossed at the first one and it fell to the floor with a thud, I grabbed the bag and sprinted for the back door closing it behind me. Everyone else was still outside telling Deklan off for screaming as the zombies were attracted to noise. I looked over the three fences surrounding the back garden and saw more houses but the house across the street had a ladder.

"That's the way the house is" I said "the one with the ladder out back" pointing in the direction of the house

"I will draw them away"

I started banging on the fence furthest away from the fence and they all came, and I motioned to them to get over the fence and start heading to the house. Once the last person was over I ran and jumped up onto the fence pulling myself over, slipping and landing on my butt on the grass, I saw that everyone had reached the fence and Matthew putting his brother will on his shoulders and telling them it was clear. While sitting on the grass watching everyone boost each other up I realised that the zombies were coming towards me, so with most of my force I pulled myself to my feet and began running towards the fence and reached it just as the second last person Deklan was pushed over and Marco was last, I picked him up and threw him up to the fence and quickly pulled myself over landing on my feet this time. Looking around perched up against the house and a garden shed at the other end of the garden. We decided to go for the shed and see if there were any tools we could use against the zombies. We all stood out front of the shed, with Matthew and I holding our kitchen knifes and Robert to open the shed. He pulled it but didn't budge. Then realised it was latched, so he undid the latch and pulled on the door again. Dust came flying off the door, we could tell no ones been their for a long time. We all walked in the shed and started looking for supplies, we found a thick stick about one meter long, a three prong rake, a heavy duty torch, some duct tape and a hat. We took it all. After some modifications to our weapons were we looked like a bunch on angry framers.

"We should climb to the roof using the ladder" I said

"Why" Marco replied

"We can get to the highway easier"

"Why do we need to get to the highway" Will asked

"We're going to school"

"WHY?????" Everyone said

"It has a good layout" I responded

I started to explain to the group why and how the school would be a good place to go as there would be food, maybe other people had gone there and there were camping stuff. After an hour going back and forth, we still hadn't come to a conclusion on what we should do. Matthew thought we should get a car and just get as far away as possible, Marco and Will thought we should form a gang, Robert thought the gang was good, Deklan wanted his hand to get better and my sister wanted to find mum and dad, and I still said school was the best place to go to get equipment. I had watched enough movies and Tv shows to know that sticking together would be the best solution so o came up with a plan that would make everyone happy.

"Okay I have a plan" I said "first we go to school get as much supplies as possible, and while we're there get all the first aid kits and fix Deklan's hands up, second we go to mums school and see if we can find her, then last we head to bus station get a bus make it armoured and faster if we could then start a gang"

No one responded so I thought they didn't like, but my sister said she liked it, then Deklan and I thought everyone would like it but Robert, Will and Marco didn't as they didn't get to choose the vehicle for our gang. I told them they could come up with something on the way. Once they finally agreed to my plan it was sorted, but first we tipped out my bag and counted all the food. We tried to estimate how long it would last us and decided two days as there was seven of us; Robert, Deklan, Will, Matthew, Marco, my sister and me. We were going to last through this zombie apocalypse.

"Let's do this shit" Robert said

"Make this zombie apocalypse our bitch" My sister said

"Stop saying zombie" Deklan told us "it's scary to think of it like that"

"Fine" I said "what do you want us to call them?"

"Who gives a shit" Robert said

"I donno Walkers" Deklan replied

"Walkers it is" I said out loud

"Let's do this" Charlotte said
