I pull asher in to the elevator and i make it go down.
He rests his head against the wall.
When i hear the ding i pull him out.
"Asher come on" i mutter as i realize him going slower.
No one was on the first floor.
Everyone was outside.
They were safe.
A peice of the ceiling falls and nearly hits me.
Asher yanks me away from it.

When we reach outside kacie runs to me.
"Alexis your okay" she says excitedly.
Then she realizes who's with me.
"He's awake" she says with shock.
"Alexis your okay" beth and alice says happily.
Mrs. Anderson runs up with wide eyes.
"Let me see him?" She says nervously.

Asher shakes his head.
"No...." he murmers.
His grip tightens around my waist.
I look up at him and see his eyes flicker with panic.
Does mrs. Anderson know him?

Mrs. Anderson raises a eyebrow.
"Why not" she asks with a demanding tone.
"I feel safe with her" asher responds.
Mrs. Anderson's face flickers with anger but goes back to calm.
She turns and walks away.

"Take care of him" kacie says as she walks away.
"Um... alexis. He's awake" alex says as he walks up.
"Am i creeping you out?" Asher asks.
He played the words back to alex.
"Stay away from my girl" alex mutters.
"Not your girl" i respond.
"Will be!" Alex calls out as he walks away.

Asher lays his head on my shoulder.
"Want to sit down?" I ask.
He nods slowly.
Me and him sit down and he keeps his head on my shoulder.
I feel his breathing even.
" Me, lilly, annie, ben, and vincent is going to stay at. My house." Beth says with a grim nod.

"Wait.. so you have a house but stay at the hospital?" I ask.
She nods.
"Actually a mansion she's rich" vincent says while wiggling his eyebrows.
"I would love for you to visit me" beth says.
"Of course." I respond.
Alice and evan walk over to me.

"Can we sit with you?" Alice asks.
I nod and evan and alice sit down in my lap.
I hear the firefighters truck come to stop the fire.
Then a couple ambulances.
The ambulances were for the people who was hurt.
"Did you true love kiss him?" Alice asks.
I look down and see she was staring at asher sleep.

"Still doesn't work like that" i reply.
"You said he was like snow white. So he needs to be kissed?" Alice asks.
" that wasn't what i was refering to...." i respond.
"Alexis? Are you alright?" I look up and see aden.
He could be loving but not usaully.
"I am" i answer.

"I heard a fire was here so i came to check up on you" aden says.
He sits down cross legged.
"Who's these people?" He asks.
"Alice, evan, and asher" i respond.
Aden nods.
Kacie walks over and frowns at aden.
"What are you doing here?" She asks him.

"I came to see my sister" aden responds.
She shrugs.
I could see aden's eyes flicker with care.
I knew he liked her.
Although i didn't know kacie liked him.
He was only a year older then her.
His college consisted of him going to high school but was counted as college classes.

"You came way too late" Kacie tells him.
"Well i'm sorry i drove all the way here" Aden replies.
"You didn't have to" she says back.
"She's my sister, i sort of have to" he tells her.
"So you only came for Alexis?" She asks.

"I mean.... did you want me to come for you too?" He replies.
"If i did i wouldn't want you to know" she tells him.
Evan and Alice both look at them as i do.
Evan leans over to Alice
"They look like a married couple" he whispers.
"I hear wedding bells" she replies.

"So i did come for you" Aden states.
"Well i didn't want you to" Kacie respond.
"You're stubborn you know that?" Aden tells her.
"Am not" she says back.
"Are too" he replies.
