Allard tucked their files into their niche on his shelf, to be processed and presented to the committee at a later date.
Maybe this is why angels steer clear of Simic.

"Your concern for the opinion of House Dimir's stance on the candidacy is quite flattering, Guildmage Sharikov. However, as a house of diplomats and couriers I'm afraid we have no official position on the matter, and even if we did we hardly have the same influence as the other guilds."
The secretary for the outpost of the House gave a charming little laugh. Allard's eye twitched.
"All right." His voice shook with the effort to stay calm and reasonable. "Let's pretend for a moment that we both don't know that you aren't just a bunch of impartial errand boys. I'm here for two reasons: first, to pick up the paperwork that I am absolutely certain you received for your trial. Second, to ask you why in Azor's name the first messenger I sent is currently under the impression that he is a bloody baker named Liliana!"
To her credit, the secretary didn't bat an eyelash. Allard vaguely wondered where Dimir hired such individuals, as such an impressive level of stoicism was something he himself probably required in an administrative assistant.
"House Dimir regrets the inconvenience this might pose to the Senate and her agents," she informed him with a hint of satisfaction. "However, we beg that you remain reasonable. Ravnica is a dangerous place, and our own Guildpact Beleren, may he rest in peace, demonstrates the perils errant mind mages may pose to the population at large. As he no doubt carried with him valuable cargo, I'm afraid no evidence exists to implicate the House for this unfortunate incident."
"So just so we're clear: the official story is that the papers never came here, you never saw them, and the messenger never arrived? And even if he did, he left without incident and was no doubt accosted by a cunning and powerful mind mage on his way back?"
She smiled brightly. "You have taken the words right out of my mouth, Guildmage Sharikov. With such eloquence, you will no doubt rise quickly in the Senate."
He wondered for a long moment whether or not it was worth it to arrest the secretary where she sat and let her stew in a containment sphere for a while. After all, it was quite possible another Dimir agent had removed the memory from her mind. Eventually he contented himself with a snarled "I will return with an injunction, an attorney, and another four magi!" before storming out the door. It slammed behind him with sufficient force to rattle the windowpanes.
"We look forward to your visit!" The secretary chirped at the closed door.

-When you wake up in the morning, you will discover you have acquired two things: first, the Dimir signet.

-Realize it isn't real, and escape the memory. Or don't. Whatever's best for your character.
Deaths: 3 ballot kills. Five tributes will go up for votes this round. Three will be eliminated
Due Date: Monday, March 13 at 10 PM EST. However, this is where Ray's ballot challenge comes in! You see, every 24 hours until you hand in, I will be subtracting 2 points from your total score, whatever it may be. Keep that in mind when procrastinating this round.
