Name: Mikaela Gavreel
Guild: Boros
Race: Angel
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: If she was to be born different, she might as well go all out to look the part. That's the belief most see in her when they lay eyes on a face covered in the grime (occasionally) and a preference for staying out of military uniform (as often as she can). If it weren't for her race, Mikaela would make a mean assassin—daggers in her boots and darts in her hair pretty much seal the deal. Her ashy brown hair would lie straight if given the care, but it instead falls down her back in tangled waves. She's small in many ways—face, nose, stature—but would never hesitate to show the world she's made up for it with muscles defined from training. In every other way, she's a fireball. Her eyes are vividly amber and her heritage makes it such that she glows subtly under the sunlight. As for her wings...well, she talks about them, but others prefer to keep their mouths shut on the matter. Mostly because they exist as bones that jut awkwardly beneath the skin on her back where wings should've grown, but didn't.
Personality: Like all red mages, Mikaela values her freedom. She finds this not in flight but in self-expression, something that makes her magic more erratic than it should be. To most, she appears jaunty and confident, a contradiction of the spells that come out of her in spurts of destruction and restoration. These reflect what goes on beneath the surface as precisely as a mirror. Her magic is as confused as her mind, weaving itself into strange chains she can't place or find a use for. She's open yet apprehensive, wild but excellent at taking orders and has a sense of justice that both reigns her in and fires her up. Even the lack of wings makes her someone who'd often cross your mind in a decision but never make the final cut. This lack of mobility has made it such that she's constantly ranked among the lowest in her guild, the cause of much chagrin amongst peers who recognise she tries hard enough to excel in most everything else. Nonetheless, whoever selected her recognised the potential in this difference: being wingless takes away the air of superiority that comes with flight and makes her an emblem of neutrality. Perhaps a trustworthy image would give Boros the chance it needs.
