Life is a painful truth

Prince Junmyeon was sitting on the root of the tree after giving the usual greetings. He was early today, so he was waiting for (y/n) to arrive. He was excited to see the Princess because they couldn’t meet for almost two weeks.
Today was their promise day.
They were going to plan their escape. It was foolish to run away without a plan, so the Junmyeon decided it was a good idea to talk about it. They were going to talk about where they would be heading, how they would get there, how much money they were going to bring, and so forth. Junmyeon wanted to make sure that they would have an easy time running away.
He knew there would be lots of hardships, but he wanted to lessen the burden even if it was just a little.
As he was lost in thought, he heard the sound of footsteps. He thought it was the (y/n), so he looked up in excitement. That excitement died when he saw the Evil Queen.
She smiled at him. “Well, hello there Prince Kim Junmyeon” she slowly walked up to him as he stared at her in shock. “What a coincidence meeting you here.”
Before Junmyeon could say anything, the Evil Queen unsheathed her sword. It was a short sword that was easy enough to carry, but sharp enough to kill.
Her smile grew wide as the look of terror rushed over The Prince’s face.
“Since my daughter doesn’t have the guts to kill the love of her life, I will have to do it myself.”
“She would never try to kill me!”
“Oh, she didn’t tell you? The reason she came up to you that day and became your friend was because she wanted to get closer to you to let your guard down. Her mission was to cut your head off and to put it on a silver platter to give it to me. Oh, how foolish you have been to think that she would run away with you!”
“That--!”
Before he could say anything or even react, the sword pierced through the center of his chest. She deliberately didn’t stab him in the heart so that she could see him suffer. The smile on her face was filled with satisfaction and evil.
“This is all because of your stupid father who tossed me away for that Good Queen, your mother! He made the biggest mistake when he threw me away. When I saw you for the first time, I thought you looked like your father, but the shape of your face really reminds me of your mother. Ah, how it makes me cringe every time I see you.”
The Evil Queen was once in love with the Good King. In their youth, they were together and they were very happy with one another. They talked of marriage, they talked of children, and most importantly, they talked of happiness.
It was on that one horrid day where the Good Queen came along and seduced the love of her life. He dropped the Evil Queen for someone more beautiful, more pure, and less tainted by the world.
That was when she decided to enact her revenge. She was going to make him suffer as much as she suffered. She was going to take the Good King’s happiness. That happiness was the child the the Good King and Queen gave birth to. It was Prince Junmyeon.
Even if things started to go off course, the end result of killing the Good Prince happened in the end.
Meanwhile, Junmeyon was up against the tree trying to keep his consciousness. As he felt the life slowly slipping away, he heard the shouts of Princess (y/n).
