Nicky's POV

I was the one to prepare Dinner since mum was ranting about she needed to look presentable and had already went running to have a shower and have herself fixed. I cooked Baked Macaroni, Roast Beef, Cherry Tomatoe salad, and Chocolate Mousse cake and paired it up with Novelino wine Moira and I had stashed in the cupboards.

Moira had already come home a few minutes ago and had also went up to prepare as I had already prepared wearing a red fitted dress -as mum had suggested- while cooking.

Ding Dong

As a cue that the boys are here and I quickly remove my apron just as I finished setting the table uncluding the delicious food that I already set out. I opened the diors and I was greeted by Niall right away

"Hey buddy!" I say hugging him as I saw Moira and mum already making thier way down the stairs.

"Nicky!" Zayn greets me as I hug him

"Hugs for Liam?" Liam asks as I laugh and hug him

"Harry..." I say quite sofly as I led him inside the house taking him from Louis' care "Thanks Lou" I say as he salutes and I give Harry a quick peck on the lips and he smiles.

"Nice to... be around you again Nicky?" Harry says and I laugh giving him a qiuck peck again before I turn to Moira and Mum again while lacing my arm with Harry's. Moira was already interacting with Zayn and Liam as she already knew them as my mum was still in the stairs looking at me to give her a proper introduction... typical mums!

"Ohh and by the way guys! that is my mum! Melinda Barnoah" I say and as a cue the boys greet her.

"Good evening Ms. Barnoah" they says respectfully as my mum giggles a bit. Thank God the guys had worn something a bit formal so my mum had a good first impression about them as proper lads!

"Lads just call me Aunt Melinda" mum smiles as I give myself a face palm for my mum's weird and awkward intriduction of herself "Which one of you is my daughter's boyfriend aye?" she asks scanning the room as I roll my eyes

"Mum Harry is here!" I say pointing to the lad next to me as he smiles ofcourse not knowing where or who he was smiling at.

"Ohh dear, I'm so sorry" my mum says probably looking at Harry's condition

"Its okay Aunt Melinda" Harry says with a smile and my mum smiles at him... I have a feeling she is gonna a pprove of this

"come on guys! dinner is ready!" I say as we all pile up in the kitchen, me sitting in between Harry and Niall, Louis and Liam at both ends, Mum infront of Harry, Moira infront of me and Zayn beside her.

As my normal routine does when Harry is here, I took care of him, loving the way I do it. Helping Harry in simple things, even just feeding him gives my heart a cintent and Happy feeling that I am doing a good job for the one I love.

"So... do you have family Harry?" Mum starts up the conversation as a wave or nervousness and awkwardness oass through me, interogation? time

"Yes, I have my mum Anne and Sister Gemma and Step Dad Robin back in Cheshire" Harry responds

"Looks like you really are a loving lad aye?" Mum asks as Harry Nods "Nicky... can I talk to you for a bit on the living room please?" Mum says as I sigh standing up and giving Harry a quick peck before I followed my mum to the living room.

A wave of nervousness passes through me as I sence that this has sonething to do with her approval. I hope she understood our situation and approves.

"I've talked to your Aunt Daisy" she starts and I put my hands in a prayer position full of hope "She said that Harry is a good lad and as I've seen, her really is" She says and there was a moment of silence

"And" I decided to break it off anxious to know my mother's approval

"And I'd like you to know that I approve" she says and my heart beated fast... I was so happy! "He makes you happy and feel loved right? plus Daisy gave a go signal so its good" she says with a smile and I engulf her in a hug

"Thank you! you don't know how much this means to me!" I say as she returned to the kitchen with me and I give Harry a passionate kiss right away, his lips moved in sync with mine and he smiles as we broke it off

"She said yes didn't she?" Harry asks and I giggle a bit

"Yes! its good to go! nithibg to worry about the two of us anymore!" I say giving him another peck as tge lads, mum and Moira laugh.

"You two lovebirds are gathering ants around!" Niall says pretending to brush off an ant from his shirt and Harry and I laugh. What a perfect night!
