I smiled at Hogarth, who had held the door for me. He rolled his eyes. "Next." Alex declared.
"The outside." Ash said, making his voice deeper. I laughed and Reece smiled.
"Since we took so long inside the castle I'll just show important spots around the kingdom." Alex said, as we went down the spiraling staircase of the castle.
I nodded and glanced over at Hogarth. I was glad to see him; he was a part of home. Even though I'm sure he was here from the beginning. I just wondered where Layla was.
As we walked through the castle servants stared, causing me to keep my eyes down. When we got outside I sighed, but my relief was short lived.
Outside there was a sea of Supernatural people with cameras. They crowded us, mostly flashing their cameras at me. I grimaced, trying to cover my eyes. "Look over here Luna!" One shouted. Another one asked me what my name was. I felt overwhelmed as Hogarth pushed through the crowd. When we got to car, he growled.
"Way to be obvious Asthenias." He mumbled. He opened the door and shoved me inside. A few moments later Reece crashed in along with Ash and Alex.
I looked at them with wide eyes. They brushed the situation off and got comfortable in the car. They took some candy that was placed in a bowl and smiled at me. "You got to get used to paparazzi." Alex said. "Everyone wants know about you." He explained. The other two nodded along with his explanation. I groaned, closing my eyes.
About an hour later we were at the prison. Alex was explaining the security of the prison." This place is crawling with guards and the best technology. No one is getting in or out with a pass. He said. I nodded in interest and relief.
We had visited the school, the infirmary, the training base, and some shops." Will I ever get to go in?" I asked.
"Up to Beau." He said. 'Go ahead and go Lonnie." He said, waving to the elderly women who had been our driver. I waved goodbye as she waved to us.
"What are we doing?" Ash asked.
'Walking to lunch." Alex said, and I much relieved. For years, I had the opportunity to be outside with fresh air, and quite frankly all this lack of work and fresh air has me feeling a little run down.
I smiled and walked alongside Alex, grinning. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"This really good place called joe's crab shack." He said. "Do you like seafood?" He asked.
"I don't know." I said. "I guess we'll find out."
Layla P.O.V
"He. Can't. k-k-keep me..." I let out a sob as I spoke the words I was writing shakily. "Here." I said. "Come soon." I tried to write. I folded the paper and stuck it in the envelope, I'd found. My shackles jingled loudly as I put it through the vent. It'd make it. They always did.
It had been a week since HE locked me away. HIM being the frustrated werewolf who is keeping me from the one who deserves me. As I heard his front door slam my tears started again and I sobbed. Help me.
