King

Eleven

                               An hour later I was chasing after Nate barefoot in the front yard of the Alpha's home. Some other small children had joined us and were giggling and running around too. He giggled loudly as I caught him and tickled his sides. I laughed as Alex jumped on me, and so did the other kids.

Nate laughed loudly and gave Alex a high five." Your turn!" Nate shouted. "Come on guys!" I laughed as all the kids helped him tickle me. A few minutes later Beta Asthenias came to stand over us. He stood by Alex, who was standing up." "Mira." He said and Nate and the kids looked at him.

"Hi Asthen." Nate said.

"He Nate. The King needs Mira, she has to go." He said.

"Awe." Nate whined, with other kids. I smiled and gave them all a hug. I then stood up and went to grab my shoes.

I then followed Beta Asthenias to the house. He opened the door and as I walked in, I bumped directly into a chest. I almost fell, but two hands. Weird tingles went through my arm into my heart, warming it. I looked up and then back down, realizing it was the King. "I'm sorry uh" I didn't know what to call him really.

"King Beau is fine." He said, turning me around and ignoring my apologies. "It's time for us to be leaving." He said, pressing his hand against my back. He ushered me to the van and as I went to open the door to the back Alex shut it for me. Then I heard the King's voice." You sit in the front seat. "The King said.

"Yes sir." I said as the opened the door for me. As I got comfortable I looked to the driver's seat and scoffed." You again." I said.

"Me again!?" He said." You attacked me." He said and then rolled his euyes.

The King buckled me up in my seat and then growled at the driver. He closed the door. And then walked away. "I said sorry." I said.

"You aren't." He said grumpily. I looked out the window and saw the King.

Outside there was a group of wolves. The King was pointing in different directions. The wolves ran away and the King towards the van. He began to change his form. I'd seen a wolf shift before, but it always made me sick. It was the oddest thing to look and listen to. But something about him transforming that was majestic and just beautiful. Once he was throwing I sighed." Love struck already?"

"Leave me alone." I said to the driver.

"Can't, I don't get payed till we get back to the kingdom." He said. Alex, out of nowhere busts into a fit of laughter as I just sat there and frowned.
