Twenty-Two

Finally! I know. Excuse the suckery of this chapter though please.

I sat quietly in the large auditorium, twisting my fingers as I listened to the loud shouts outside. There were Guards that paraded in and out the building, either changing posts or carrying something inside. They didn't speak to me, and I didn't to them. At times I averted my down to look at my twisting fingers.

As I looked at my hands I felt as if eyes were on me and I glanced up. Immediately I stiffened in my seat. "B-Beta Asthenias." I stuttered out as he smiled at me.

"Good afternoon Mira." He said." I mean Luna Queen Mira." He corrected. He stepped closer, and I took a short step back. My hands going to my side as I looked at him in caution and slight fear. I noticed that a guard walked in and shut the door to the auditorium.

"The door is secure sir." He said, his eyes caught mine and he smirked." Viv has casted the spell as well, sir." He said. I looked at Beta Asthenias and he smiled.

He stepped up closer and this time I took a larger step back." Scared?" He asked and continued to approach me.

'Yes'

"No. I just-Where is the king?" I asked and straightened up. He stepped up to me until my back hit a wall.

"That isn't important right now Luna." He said, he caressed my cheek as he looked into my eyes deeply and I slowly felt as if I was falling. Literally falling.

Soon with my vision becoming blurry I felt his arms wrapped around me and my body weight leaning heavily on his. "There we go." He said and lied my body on the floor. "Get her out of here I have to go find Viv and inform the King of the Queen's disappearance." He said.

'What did you do?' I wanted to say but all that came out was a strangled groan. In my blurry line of vision I saw his face smiling at me.

"Hush now and sleep." He said and I did.

I woke up to yelling. A deep voice was screaming at someone, sounding like it was coming from another room." Get her out Asthenias! I don't want her here!" The man shouted.

"Calm down Hogarth." Another voice said, Asthenias' voice.

"I'm not going to calm down until she's gone. Because if and when the Alpha King finds her here I'm dead." He said. I could hear footsteps pacing back and forth. I sat up and frowned when I heard the rattle of chains.

"No one knows the property belongs to you. Not even the kid." He said. "When the King comes for her don't worry about getting caught. Just follow the plan." Asthenias said.

"What's the point of keeping her here if you know he's gonna find her anyway?" Hogarth asked.

"You never listen do you?" Asthenias said in frustration. "Viv will be here any minute. She'll explain the plan and what is going to come out of it." Asthenias said and I heard footsteps retreating.

I frowned and lifted my hand to my head." Mira?" A weak voice said and I looked around the dimly lit room for the source.

"Who is there?" I asked. I heard the sound of chains rattling and then I saw her come to the lighter part of the room.

"It's me Mira."

"Layla?" I asked and there was look of relief on her face.

"It is you!" She yelled and went to wrap her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her frowning.

"Layla. Who-" She interrupted me.

"He must have put you here." She said, a glare appearing on her face. "That son of a bitch is gonna die now." Layla said, mumbling a number of other things about this person. My mind immediately went to Asthenias.

"Asthenias." I said and she looked at me like I was crazy.

"Who?" She asked." I'm talking about that wuss ass kisser Hogarth," She said.

Who all thought it was Harry? I'm so sorry for the wayyyy late reply. I'm gonna try and get them out faster.
