One day, one day, you'll scavenge for solace but, you won't find it — your sleep
One day, one day, you'll ransack your dreams but, you won't find me
One day, one day, you'll try to picture my smile, but will your blind mind really see?
One day, one day, you'll try to remember my voice but, you'd have forgotten the sound
One day, one day, you'll scream out of loneliness and wish I was around
One day, one day, you'll feel empty
One day, one day, you'll walk and your feet will be hefty
One day, one day, you'll be cold at night
And on that day, I'll be far from sight
It'll be burden — my laughter
All our history — haunting ever after
That day, that day, you heard: "I love you" from my lips
Will torment you more than a thousand whips
Cause you'll find the sweetness
But will only see bitterness
You'll be surprised, in the morning, I'll be ghost, in your eyes, hazed
Completely wiped out of your memory, erased
It'll be your fault after all
Since you didn't value my love
So, you'll keep taking the alcohol
That won't be able to replace me when I'm gone
