"PamPaulNickandIdidthedirtyandnowIcan'tgetmymarriageannullednowIhavetogetdivorcedandIamalsopregnant." Anya announced over their coffee date.

Pam and Paul were looked at her in confusion. "Come again?" Pam asked.

"I'm pregnant and Nick and I are going to have to get divorced." She repeated this time slowly.

Pam pulled Anya's hand and dragged her friend down to women's care. She had her husband do a trans vaginal ultra sound on her friend and there it was, a baby. "Seriously, Anya?"

"It was Halloween and I was drunk. His fiancee came in dressed in this lycra suit and looked sexy. She thought I was hired help."

"She was here?!" Pam said in outrage.

Paul left the room to let Anya get dressed. "Then what happened? Did he commit adultery?"

"No, Marcus told me she returned to New York dressed in her suit and looked furious, it was clear Nick didn't touch her."

Pam was quiet, "Have you told him?"

She shook her head, "I just found out myself this morning, and now I am positive."

"Are you going to tell him?"

Anya was quiet for a while. "That is the million dollar question, right?"

"You have a lot on your plate right now, would you like to spend Thanksgiving with us?" Pam asked.

Anya shook her head, "No, we're going to spend Thanksgiving in New York. His family has this big gala for their company and since it's a family held company, they always do this in a big way."

Pam printed the ultrasound images twice. She got up and searched for her husband who now handed Anya prescription pills. "Your due date is July try to take it easy, all right? I'll hand you over to Pam's doctor. This time the she can do your ultra sound."

Anya changed her schedules making sure she wasn't overdoing herself for the next month. She closed her eyes and looked outside her window, she was still in her office trying to make sense of her life. She only had two months left to be with Nick and she had spent most of it trying to get away from him instead of making memories. She looked at her wedding photo and the one they had taken when he asked her to be his girl long ago in that amusement park. It was one of her greatest memories. She sighed at the memory and the joy it always gave her. Her smile in her photo carried a sad atmosphere. Perhaps it was because she knew it was going to be just for a short time. Her smile didn't reach her eyes in the picture and looking at Nick it looked like he won a million dollars.

He looked happy.

Her office door opened and in walked her husband. He was dressed in a suit and it looked like he was going somewhere. "Hey," he said and approached her desk.

She smiled at him and placed the pictures on the shelf. He raised his brows when he saw their old photo. "You still have that?" He asked.

She nodded, "Seeing the photo relaxes me, it makes me happy."

He looked at her, "You must have hated me when you found out I was engaged."

She shook her head, "I hated myself. You are the one that got away. When I knew deep inside I should have stayed. I should have stayed with you and just be happy with you. But I was so afraid of your rejection."

"And now?" He asked.

"I still have a lot of my regrets, but not about our marriage," she said. "I could have said no to your proposal, it was still my choice."
