Anya was taking short deep breaths as their plane taxied to a private hangar. She was nervous about meeting Nick's family again. And this time, she was sure she was going to receive the short end of the stick once she sees them again. "Daddy, Mommy's going green again," Nicolette said.

Nick took her hand into his and found out her hands were clammy.  He raised her hand to his lips and kissed it gently. "You'll be fine, love, they actually missed you."

She nodded and forced herself to stand and looked t her husband anxiously. "Your mother must be furious I kept Nicolette from all of you."

"No, she isn't," Nick said and took her hand. "They are all waiting."

Anya took a deep breath and let her husband drag her out of the plane where his family stood, watching them. Nicolette was the first one to step out, at first she behaved liked a timid little girl. But when she saw someone familiar, she ran out and squealed. "Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley!"

Nick and Anya exchanged looks and stepped out of the plane. When they were on the ground, they saw their daughter embracing Nick's parentsn. "Mama? Papa?" Nick asked.

"Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley?" Anya said right after confusion evident in their expressions.

"You don't really think I would let you keep my grand daughter to yourself, do you?" Ann asked amused. She glanced at her son and saw he had gone into shock.

Anya gave them a one sided smile, "No, I didn't think so."

"Honey, I think this piece of news is too much for my son. Better get him inside," Ann said to her husband.

Anya sighed and looked at her daughter, "Honey they're not Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley, they're your grand parents. Grand ma and Grand pa St. Anthony."

The little girl's eyes widened, "Really? Wow! That's why you're always at the school fairs. And they always give me free and cool stuff in their store that's rarely open?" Nicolette said more in question than a statement.

"Please, you can call me Nana and your grand father Papa," Ann said and ushered them all into the waiting vehicles out of the cold nippy air.

Nick was pacing in their bedroom, they had to share a room because their daughter was bunking with her other cousins and there was no more room as they had other guests staying with them.

"Mother knew about Nicolette before I did, and they kept it a secret from me until I came to you. Did you know about Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley?"

"No, like Nicolette said, their store was more often closed than opened. I should think it was because they had to see to their other responsibilities here." Anya replied, she was unpacking their clothes but Nick stopped her as he joined her task.

"No, we're just going to be here until tomorrow night. We'll be flying out to the main manor after the grand gala. Do you have a dress?"

"No, you do remember Pam being at home yesterday and she's in one of those motherly moods. When I told her I was in the middle of  packing my things, she stopped me and told me she'll pack for me. I really heed to get rid of these clothes, St. Anthony, they really aren't doing me a favor."

Nick frowned and looked at the contents of her suitcase. He realized it contained the clothes he bought her ten years ago. The racy set of clothes were all there, he took a deep breath. "Why didn't you repacked this morning?" He asked his voice raspy.

"Well, I had to get to court early since I will be gone the entire holiday and I am no longer doing night court," She pointed out. "Then I had to go with Pam to her doctor's appointment because she thinks the baby felt funny."
