"to new beginnings!" Ash cheered as she poured milk in a bowl for Aki and Akira.
"I'm going to go to work now, Aki take care of Akira and do not go to the kitchen.." Ash said to the cats as if they were humans.
She locked the door behind her and left.
When she reached her destination, she took out a document and went to the building in front of her.
"uh excuse me, I'm here to meet the MD..uh I've been appointed as a physician for the MDs sister?" Ash asked the receptionist
"hello ma'am, you must be Dr.Ash Tuan? welcome. Here's the direction to the MDs office." the sweet receptionist greeted, giving Ash a piece of paper with a carefully drawn map on it. Ash bowed and followed the map.
"how am I supposed to read this thing?" Ash was still figuring out the map, not looking where she was going. And the most expected thing happened, she bumped into someone and almost fell but was saved by the same person she bumped into.
She slowly fluttered her eyes open, scared, her heart beating fast. Their eyes met. She was in his arms and their faces were inches apart. She could see light brown specks in his dark brown eyes. His long lashes.
Suddenly, as if realizing what was happening, he straightened and let go of her.
"Haneul.." Ash said fixing her hair
"what are you doing here?" he asked, annoyance dripping from every single word, which offended Ash
"that's what I should be asking you! What are you doing at my workplace? You asked me not to bump into you again but look at you! you came all the way to my workplace just to see me?" she this all in one go, without letting Haneul speak
Haneul clenched his jaws, "your workplace?" he asked sternly
"yup! my new workplace! why? got a problem with that?" Ash replied dusting off dirt from her clothes
"weren't you a doctor?" Haneul asked, still annoyed
"I still am a doctor. Thank you very much, now if you'll excuse me, I need to go meet the MD." Ash said walking away but Haneul grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, turning her to look in her eyes
"The Md? what would a doctor do in a construction firm?" he asked with a smug smirk on his face
"I am here to treat a patient, Haneul. I need to meet the Md, leave my hand!" Ash said pulling her hand away
His smirk disappeared and the angered expressions came back
"you're the physician they appointed?" He asked looking at the documents in Ashs hands
"yes. problem?" Ash asked, equally annoyed and angry
Haneul turned to look at Jung, his secretary
"and you are supposed to meet the Md now?" he was asking Ash but looking at Jung, who looked like he was about to be killed
"yes, that's what I said..now please excuse me.." Ash said, turning around
"really? I don't think the director knows you're meeting him now..?" Haneul whispered, with anger on his face, eyebrow raised, this question was directed towards Jung, who understood it quickly and stopped Ash
"wait!" he said, running in front of her
Ash stopped, bumping into Jung, "what?" she asked
"the Md-" Jung began
but before he could say anything Haneul spoke from behind,
"Jung, how much time do we have?" he asked
"sir..um we still have half an hour before the meeting with Mr.David" Jung replied, looking at his watch
"alright.." Haneul simply said as he walked past Ash and inside an office
Ash was fed up of their drama and pushed Jung aside, "look Jung, I need to go meet the Md, please, stop doing everything he tells you to do..look at him going inside the Mds office without permission!"
"Ash it's a part of my job..to do everything he says..I get paid for that.." Jung said, laughing nervously

*knock knock*
"come in" a familiar voice said, Ash entered the cabin and was surprised to see Haneul sitting on the boss's seat
"what.." she said
"miss Ash, you don't even know how to greet your boss..am I supposed to teach you that?" he said, raising his head higher, same annoyance on his face but a smirk was there too
"you're my boss?" Ash asked, completely ignoring what he said
"yes. I don't have all day for you so please hurry up.." he said, extending his hand to see the documents
"what happened to Yuna?" she asked handing him the file
Haneul froze in his seat when everything that happened came to his mind
"you said you were a doctor. I am not a doctor Miss Ash. Instead of asking all these questions, why don't you open your eyes and look around more carefully. Why don't you go and check for yourself. Why have I hired you? to pay you this sum of money just to tell you what happened to Yuna? If you cannot do this job properly..leave." Haneul said, throwing the documents across the table
His behaviour shocked and annoyed Ash, "you know what? I don't want to work with you or near you either. With such a disrespectful person..I can't even bear breathing the same air as you..but I need to meet Yuna..so allow me to do that and while I go meet her, terminate my contract.." Ash said in a way that looked like an order,
"pay us three months pay and we'll terminate your contract..that's what this contract says, Doctor..Ash" Haneul announced proudly
Ash stopped, "what?" she exclaimed, looking at the papers
"3 months pay?" she was probably doing maths in her head because once she figured the sum she sat down on the chair and looked at Haneul with her mouth slightly open
Haneul smirked, "seems like we'll have to breathe the same air.."
