Ash fluttered her eyes open, getting up and scratching her face she looked around. There was no one in the room, there was no one besides her in the room.
She frantically looked for her phone and found it on the table next to her, she grabbed it and saw the time, she only slept for half an hour, she got out of the bed and out the room to look for Haneul but bumped into a man who was making his way into the room.
Ash bowed instinctively and apologized
"Oh! it's my granddaughter!" an old woman exclaimed from behind the man, Ash lifted her head and saw Haneul's grandma, Ash gave her best smile and walked past the man towards grandma,
"grandma!" Ash bowed, greeting her cheerfully
Grandma kissed her cheeks and hugged her, "..is everything okay?" she asked
Ash nodded, "Haneul si-, Haneul is alright now..you should wait inside the room, I'll go get him, I think he went out for a walk.." Ash told
"oh Thank God..I was so worried the whole way.." Grandma took a huge sigh of relief, "Joon-ah! this is your sister-in-law, say hello.." Grandma said to the man, Ash had bumped into earlier
When Ash saw his face, her smile disappeared, so did the colour of her face, her face turned pale and her eyes widened with surprise, her lips parted as cold breath escaped her mouth
"Ash, this is Haneul's little brother, Seung Joonhyun, Joon-ah, this is your brothers fiance, Ash Tuan.." Grandma announced
Joon was as shocked as Ash, it looked like he had been caught doing something really wrong..
"why aren't you both saying anything?" Haneul asked from behind, taking steady steps towards Ash and Grandma, he walked past Joon and stood next to Ash
He bowed to Grandma and then grabbed Ash's hand, it was cold, "what's wrong Ash? you look like you've seen a ghost.." he joked
Ash pulled her hand away as tears fell from her eyes, Haneul couldn't understand anything, "what's wrong Ash?" he asked, more serious this time, "why are you crying?" he turned to look at his brother who looked more scared now
so much was going on inside Ash's head but she listened to the single voice coming from her heart, it was to keep quiet about the past, because if she tells Haneul that the man standing in front of them, the man who Grandma introduced as Haneul's brother is actually the man who lied to her and left her to cry all alone 2 years ago, then because of her, Haneul, who was happy and relieved to finally find his brother after so many years, Haneul who hated lies, would feel hatred towards his brother and Ash didn't want to be the reason behind it. So she took a deep breath and smiled a shaky smile, "I thought I saw a ghost..haha" she bowed, "my name is Ash Tuan, and I'm your brother's.." she gulped, "I'm your brothers fiance.." she blinked back the tears..
Joon was taken back for a while but he caught on and bowed, "yes, I've heard a lot about you from our Grandma, she never gets tired talking about you.." he smiled
Ash smiled back, "..um Haneul sir, you.." she raised her eyebrows,
"yes, I went out to get this while you were sleeping.." Haneul showed the bottle of juice in his hand,
"oh my, look at you taking care of your future wife already!" Grandma joked
"Grandma, I bought this for myself, but I'll let you have it because I love you the most out of the three of you!" Haneul exclaimed as he walked towards his grandma and put his arm around her shoulders
"aigoo! you little flatterer! when are you getting discharged?" she asked
"oh, Grandma, I'll just go and sign the discharge papers, Haneul sir you can just change into your normal clothes, they're inside the cupboard, I'll meet you in the parking lot.." Ash said
Grandma couldn't help being proud of her granddaughter in law, "see Joon? how cool your sister in law is?" she asked
"hm?" Joon, who was lost in his own thoughts asked, "yes, yes, she's really cool.." he replied, "I'll go get the car then!" he said as he made his way out of the hospital

"where are we going from here?" Haneul asked before getting inside the car
"back to the hotel, the whole staff is there, plus Grandma must be tired of travelling the whole night..I think she needs to rest.." Ash suggested and Haneul agreed.
Ash opened the door for Haneul but he refused to get in before her, "..I didn't save your life for you to act like this, just be yourself, this whole act is annoying.." she whispered as she got inside the car, Haneul nudged her, "..just play along, until we're here, I don't like this either..it's too cringey.." he replied
Grandma and Joon were sitting in the front and Haneul and Ash were in the back,
"cringey? you're the definition of cringey..you asked me to sleep next to you..ugh.." Ash made a disgusted face
"you're the one who asked me to hug you!" Haneul said a little louder than he should have, so unlike him
Grandma laughed, "I think you both should have taken a separate car..we're probably intruding your private time.." she said
"no no no no Grandma! it's lovely to have you!" Ash said, "I'm too tired of seeing his face all day everyday 24/7 anyways.." she whispered while looking at Haneul who huffed,
"and you think your face is a sight for sore eyes? it's actually the reason for sore eyes!" he fired back
"sheesh, you're so childish, I just don't want to talk to you..get off my face.." Ash replied, turning his face away from her
"see that Joon? you said your brother is always serious, look at him fight like a little highschooler.." Grandma said to Joon, "he's the kid who bullies the girl he likes..ahaha.."
" First off, I don't bully her, secondly, even if I do, it's because I hate her..and the third thing, I'm not going to share a car with you guys tomorrow, I'm going to take my own car, I hate riding with other people, it's too noisy.." Haneul fixed his shirt collar and turned towards the window
