"why would they do it? h-how can they do that? You tried looking for him?" Haneul asked
"I'm still looking..I want to know why he lied to me..what did he get from hurting me..I know he's alive..I tried contacting my professor but one of her colleagues told me that she isn't in Korean anymore..she left right after I left..and she hasn't returned.." Ash told
Haneul walked towards her, "do you have any numbers or email address or anything which may lead you to them?" he asked grabbing her shoulders
"..no..but I heard professor Kim is in Canada..then that's where Myung Suk is too..but I don't know how I'll find them.."
"Canada..?" Haneul repeated as he sighed and sat on his seat again, "you should go to sleep.."
"but what will everybody say when they'll see us..?" Ash asked, not understanding as to why he suddenly dropped the topic
"what? why would they say anything?" Haneul asked, confused, "we were working and we got locked in..what is there to worry about?"
"no one has the courage to question you, but they'll question me..especially Tania ma'am, she'll make sure to torture me for this.." Ash replied
"why does everyone hate Tania so much? she's a nice person and takes her job seriously, she has helped me a lot in making this company as strong and great as it is today.." Haneul said
"nevermind.." Ash said, shivering from the cold, "it's too cold in here.."
Haneul rolled his eyes at her, he unbuttoned his waistcoat and handed it to her, "take it.."
"no thank you! I don't want your help.." she replied all annoyed
"fine..then shiver in this cold, I'm going to sleep!" Haneul folded his arms and closed his eyes
Ash stuck her tongue at him and stomped towards the couch in the corner and sat on the corner.
"Haneul sir! are you asleep?" Ash asked
"hm..you go to sleep as well.." he replied in a low husky voice
Ash got up from the couch again, "I can't sleep right now..I'm not used to sleeping this early.."
"are you pointing something out here, Miss Ash?" Haneul asked turning towards Ash
"no sir, I'm just wondering why you're so.." Ash went quiet suddenly, "wicked.." she whispered
"did you say something?" he asked when he heard her murmur something
"ah no sir..of course not! I was just wondering.." she turned to look at the locked door, and then back at haneul, "you've become quiet muscular now.."
Haneul glanced at his arms, "what's your point?" he asked
"I mean, you're still not as muscular as most guys..but uh..your arms are more stronger than they used to be before..haha.." she laughed remembering his stick like arms, "but before..when you bumped into me-"
"I didn't bump into you, you bumped into me!" Haneul corrected
Ash rolled her eyes at him, "you're the one who bumped into me!"
"no you did! You're the one who wasn't looking where you were going!" Haneul replied
"uh well! at least you were looking Haneul sir! you could've avoided bumping into me but no! you weren't looking either!" Ash retaliated
Haneul thought for a second, he put his hands in his pants pockets and turned away, "so it's a..uh..mutual mistake.." he said
"of course a business tycoon like you would call it a mutual mistake.." Ash joked about his choice of words, "anyways, you should break the door open!" she exclaimed
Haneul gave a small laugh and a questioning look, "I'm in no mood to play around Ash!" he was about to sit back on the chair when Ash grabbed his arm,
"oh..look at these veins popping out...look at these nice but innocent muscles which need to be tested..come on sir..try.." she said
Haneul raised an eyebrow and pulled his arm away, "Miss Ash..I really think you should go to sleep now..you're losing it.." he said pointing towards her head
Ash scratched her head, "fine I'll do it.."
Haneul forced a smile, "good girl..wise decision, you need sleep because tomo- no, sorry, today is a big day.." Haneul said sitting down and closing his eyes
"I'm going to break the door myself.." she whispered
Haneul quickly opened his eyes and saw Ash running towards the door, "ASH!" with that he closed his eyes shut and when he opened them again he laughed, "you.."
"I.." Ash rubbed her arm and sat down, "told you I'd do it myself.." she said as she stared at the now open door.
Haneul walked out the door and observed it carefully, then he glanced back at Ash who looked proud but hurt, she was obviously waiting for a compliment
"Ash.." Haneul started slowly, "I'm going to make you pay for this damage! I'm going to cut money from you paycheck.." he said, very seriously
Ash looked at him in surprise, she stood up, "I just saved your life Haneul sir!" she exclaimed
"by putting yourself in danger!" he responded
"I.." Ash was speechless, she had no idea how to respond to that, "I did what I had to, to go home. I'm tired, goodnight sir." she grabbed her bag from inside the room and left
Haneul followed her outside, "where's your car?" he asked
"workshop." she simply replied, she was angry at him
"I'll drop you off.." he offered
"no thank you. I don't want your help." she kept on walking
"Ash..it's too late for you to go home alone, wait here, I'll get my car!" he said
"No..I don't want your help!" she exclaimed in anger
Haneul nodded, "fine..be here at 8 sharp." he said as he turned around and went his own way.

Ash took a cab and reached in front of her apartment building, it was still raining and she was really wet as well.
She was too tired to dry her hair so she changed her clothes and went straight to bed. She had a lot to do today, not only was she supposed to give the presentation in a few hours, the grand party she had been preparing for was today as well and she still had a lot to prepare..
At 4 am she was up, she quickly took a bath, the shortest bath she had ever taken, 5 minutes long.
She wore a light blue button down collared shirt and jeans, like she always did. She tied her hair in a ponytail and wore black vans, took her bag, and left the apartment.
