Chapter 18- rumors

There were plenty of rumors around the hospital. Most were about me. Most were rumors about Jackie but most of them weren't true, however, one rumor wasn't about me and it caught my attention. Apparently we were gonna have a new kid coming. Word was his name was Pearce. He was 14 like me and people don't really know his true story of why he's coming. It's just a bunch of different mix match stories. Non of them matched so I would have to find out myself. Usually we don't get new kids my age. I was finally interested in something going on around here. I had to try to get to know him. Maybe he's like me. Maybe he is as crazy as me.

We got a new kid last month but he was 16. He absolutely hates me. His name is Jeremiah. He has black hair and these creepy blue eyes. He's my enemy. We haven't gotten into any fights but I've wanted to hit him so badly. He follows me around like a stalker and I wanna stab him.

I went to go get a cookie one day from the cafeteria for an afternoon snack but he was waiting there for me. I stepped past him giving him an evil look. As I reached for the cookie he snatched my arm and yanked me back. "HEY!" I yelled "what's your problem?!"
He slapped me hard. "You don't give people nasty looks! That's very rude!"
I got pissed and I yanked my arm out of his hand. I punched him hard in his jaw. He grabbed his jaw in pain. I snatched his hair and kept pulling so his face would meet my fist over and over again. Eventually when his face was bleeding I stopped and walked away. I heard him yell at me "your a feisty one. I think it's adorable!" I stopped in shock but didn't look back. I then proceeded to walk to my cell.

The next few days were nothing but rumors. They called me "maniac." No one dare mess with me. You know, when that new kid comes your gonna have the urge to eat him. No I'm not! Don't say that! Haha it's true though. Shut up!
