I woke up surprised to be in a different room. I was wide awake and I saw every detail. It was a full white room with a little window with bars on it in the white door. I knew exactly where I was. A schizophrenic hospital. My parents always told me they'd send me to one. I looked down immediately when I noticed I couldn't move. I was sitting on a white bench, the only thing in this room. It was connected to the wall like those dressing rooms in clothing stores. I was wearing a straight jacket. I started struggling with all my strength and screaming. I had one of those insane masks on so I was freaking out even more. Eventually I started to feel claustrophobic and I freaked out a lot more. I didn't have that crazy medicine in me that made me really strong earlier so i couldn't get out of this. I gave up and started crying.

A few minutes later the same doctor I remember came in. I stopped crying immediately and put my head down. He bent down on one knee and lifted my head with his finger. He stared at me with an odd smile almost like he was happy a new insane person came to the hospital. "Well hello there, I'm dr. Mike. I'll be taking care of you until you get your permanent room. I'll also be examining you as your regular doctor. You know like check ups and stuff." He said with such a calm tone like this was all normal to me. I stared at him with almost a tear dripping from my eye and quietly asked him "where am I? Why am I here?" He bit his bottom lip and looked down and did a quick breath. His eyes looked up at me and he shook his head. "You see, one of the neighbors near the park saw you out their window talking to yourself and she saw you get up on the playground roof and fall off. This stuff happens often with schizophrenic kids and she called the ambulance to make sure you were ok. You were passed out but luckily no severe injuries. So they referred you here for questioning to see if you really are schizophrenic. Sorry about the straight jacket it was just a safety precaution because earlier we accidentally gave you the wrong medicine and you ended up braking your bonds and we didn't know how it was gonna affect you when you woke up again so we had to." He explained. I let out a deep breath and looked down.
"I know this is a lot for a 10 year old to handle dear." He said looking down as well.
"When can I go home?" I asked letting a tear escape my eye. Just thinking about home and my family made me sad. Dr. Mike stood up and sat down on the bench with me. "Well we have to ask you some questions first then we will decide that. Your parents know what happened and stuff so they are very concerned about you and all but before we let you see them you have to come with us."
I was still looking down when he stood up infront of me. "Here." He said taking the mask off. "That should feel a little better." He said. "Now come with me so we can get this over with." He said while holding his hand out towards me in a motion that tells me to come. I stood up and followed him out the door. As I walked down the halls I could hear kids and adults screaming in the rooms with the white doors. Some were laughing hysterically and it scared me. My lip started to quiver. Dr. Mike put his arm on my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. "It's ok dear, they are just.......upset."

We got to a brown wooden door and he spun around on his heels to face me. He held out his hands and said "wait here." He opened the door and looked inside real quick. "Ok come on." He said. When we entered the room it was kind of dark and it looked like the inside of an old abandoned cabin. Their was two wooden chairs and a table with a light hanging above the table like an interrogation room. It was scary back then to me but now after all the things I have been through I would feel right at home in the room filled with cob webs. "Take a seat." He said pointing to the chair across the table. I went over to it with my straight jacket still on and sat down. He sat in the chair across from me.
