Hours passed by so slowly. I was a little nervous and had been preparing for what could happen tonight. When it was finally time to get ready, I put on a decent shirt because I didn't know if I should go fancy or casual. I wore black jeans and my hair was down. Reese came into my room because she knew that I was a little nervous.
"Don't worry. If he doesn't like you, that's his problem," she said.
I gave her an annoyed look, "If he didn't like me, why would he ask me out?"
She shrugged, then looked at what I was wearing, "Y/N, why are you wearing that?"
I looked down and said, "I didn't know if I should be casual or fancy."
She walked over to my window and opened the curtains slightly, "Look, there's Martinus." I came over beside her to look. Martinus was in his room wearing a shirt and some jeans.
"See, now you know what to wear," Reese said.
I was confused, "What should I wear?"
"Geek, clearly you're not ready for this." She walked over to my closet and searched through my stuff, "You need to go shopping more."
She left to find me some better clothes. After a minute, Reese came in with a sparkly blouse and a skirt.
"There is no way I'm wearing that horrifying outfit," I said as I bolted into the bathroom.
Reese muttered something under her breath and walked away. While I was in there, I brushed my teeth and washed my face. When the coast was clear, I stepped out slowly and ran downstairs.
It was 6:40 and Martinus came to the door.
"Hey Y/N, sorry I'm a little early, I just couldn't wait to take you on a date."
I smiled at him and said, "It's okay, I'm really excited too."
We went to a pizza parlour and took one to go. Martinus lead me to the docks and we had our pizza there, while we watched the sunset.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Martinus asked.
I almost choked on my pizza, "I've never actually had a boyfriend, to be honest."
He stopped smiling and said, "I've never had a girlfriend either."
"So we'll just wing it, I guess," I said before we giggled.
Martinus replied, "Yeah, I guess so."
We finished our pizza. Martinus kept staring at me, it kind of made me uncomfortable so I asked, "Why do you keep staring at me?"
He looked away fast and said, "Sorry.. You're just so beautiful!" He looked at me again.
I was blushing, "Thanks."
Before I knew it, Martinus pulled me into a hug, I hugged him back a little tighter.
It was getting dark and Martinus said, "I think I should walk you home now. That's what they do in movies so.."
I nodded, "Yeah let's go."
We held hands on our way to my house. When we reached my front porch Martinus pulled me into another hug then kissed me for a minute or two.
Reese opened the door on us and dragged me away from Tinus.
"See you tomorrow Y/N!" Martinus yelled as I was dragged to my doom.
Reese was a little angry, "Why were you kissing him?"
I responded mad, "Because that's what you do when you have a boyfriend!"
She gasped, "AHHHH, Y/N! You have a boyfriend!" She started dancing around me.
I said confused, "I thought you were mad?"
"Well if you weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, then I would be mad."
"Girls are so confusing!"
Reese smiled, "And that's why we're girls."
I smirked, "No that's why you're single." I laughed when she darted me a rude look.
"We should go to bed now," Reese said as we walked to our rooms, "see you in the morning."
We both brushed our teeth, washed our faces and closed our doors before we went to bed.
