We stood up and revealed our shirts. It took a couple seconds for them to realize that we were expecting another kid.
"You can open the box now!" I said with excitement.
He opened the box and saw the baby pictures. We told him that we were expecting a baby boy and they were so happy.
Then we gave him his original present.
We played some music and had a little camp fire to roast some s'mores.
The twins ended up with goopy faces, you thought I was talking about Eli and Emma?
No I was talking about Marcus and Martinus!
The scary part was Tinus tried to kiss me with marshmallow all over his face!
The night was getting to an end, we already tucked the kids into bed and I was too tired to stay up.
The next day came and I woke up with an awful morning sickness. Martinus jolted up and ran to meet me in the washroom to hold my hair so I wasn't a complete mess.
"Just let it out sweetie." He said.
I sat down on the floor and he handed me some tissues to wipe my nose.
The twins came in to see my face flushed and tears stained down my cheeks.
"Is mommy okay?!" Emma asked showering me with hugs and kisses.
"The baby's just giving her a bit of a rough morning." Martinus said answering her concerns.
She looked at my stomach and said, "Listen baby! You stop hurting mommy!"
Eli stood beside her and yelled, "DIDN'T MOMMY TELL YOU TO KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF?!"
Martinus picked them up and sat them down for breakfast.
"The baby isn't hurting her, that's just what happens when mommy has a baby in her belly."
They were still so confused on why the baby wasn't being nice to me.
My stomach was feeling a lot better, so I decided to come downstairs for breakfast.
"I was thinking that we should do something today."
"Can we go to the park?!" Emma asked with excitement.
"What if we went to the lake?"
They both looked up with smiles going from ear to ear.
"Okay eat your breakfast!" I said.
They turned to their cereal and started shoving it all in their mouths.
"EASY! Easy.. we'll go there when we are ready!"
They slowed down, but were shaking with the energy of ten horses!
A couple hours passed and we had our bathing suits on with all our gear for the day.
Martinus packed the stroller in the car and I buckled the kids in their car seats. We soon were on the road to the docks.
