Church Perfomance

A couple months later...

It was almost Christmas and my injury was healed, almost.
My brain went from being horrible and almost dead, to healthy, alive, and lucky.
The doctors were really surprised that I didn't have permanent damage, but only a couple stitches.

My family was getting ready to go to church to see Marcus and Martinus sing in the choir. I wasn't really comfortable singing in front of a lot of people at this point in time. I had just moved here a while ago and still didn't know a lot of people. I was really excited to hear the boys sing though.
Jack and Lucas were playing pirates and ninjas and they wanted me to join, I was already dressed up, but I didn't care.
I grabbed a pirate hat and sword, then walked like Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates and the Caribbean" my whole family loves those movies, so I thought it'd be funny to impersonate him.
"It's time for you all to walk the plank," I said quite casually.
Lucas screamed, "ATTACK," then swung his sword at me.
He was really small so I grabbed him by the waist and hoisted him up in the air.
He giggled then squealed as I threw him onto the couch.
My mom interrupted, "Kids let's go to the car," we took our costumes off and tossed our props on the floor. Lucas kept his sword though.
"Come on, move it, move it." She said, rushing us out the door.
We got into the car and drove off.
Lucas wanted attention, so he decided that it would be a good idea to smack Jack in the face with his weapon and Jack cried like a howling hyena.
I tried to calm him down by tickling him, but he accidentally hit Lucas in the eye, which only made things worse.
It wasn't even a long drive to church, but it seamed to take forever just to get there.

We finally arrived and Jack pointed out Emma sitting next to her parents.
We awkwardly shuffled towards them, then sat down.
The first song came on, Marcus and Martinus stood in the back and all I saw was Martinus smiling at me while he was performing.
By the time it was over, Tinus came over to me and said, "So.. Did you like it?"
I nodded and said, "Yeah, the one thing I kept thinking, though, is that you'd look really good in a dress."
He looked down at his attire and laughed, "Speaking of that, I'm gonna go change."
"I'll wait here!" I called after he walked away from me.
