Marcus and Martinus

A Day of Fishing

The kids were squirming and so I had to turn the wheels on the bus soundtrack on.
Martinus heard it and started dancing.
The kids saw him and tried to copy his moves, they were smiling, giggling, and just bobbling around in their car seats.
We arrived to the lake and took the kids out of their seats.
They started running for the sand.
Martinus grabbed their life jackets and headed to the dock.
I grabbed some snacks just in case the kids got hungry while going fishing.
Emma and Eli came back to show me the sand, but I steered them towards Martinus.
"Mama?" Emma asked.
"What is it sweetie?"
"When we get home, can we watch a movie?"
"We'll have to see what daddy and Eli want to do."
"Okay!" She ran off to ask Eli and Martinus.
I got to the boat and Martinus helped me on board.
I pulled out some sunblock and water so the kids wouldn't get heatstroke.
"Ooh you got the good solkrem!" Tinus yelled.
I laughed, "kids lets get geared up."
They didn't like the spray stuff so I had to get the hand lotion type.
They put their life jackets on and I put their little fisher hats on them.
Emma grabbed a water, but couldn't open it, so while Martinus was setting up the rods and the nets I had to help the littles out.
"So what movie are we watching?" Tinus said.
"We should order pizza." I replied.
The kids wanted to watch monsters inc. so we decided on pizza and some cool monsters.
We spent hours fishing, and the kids were really excited to go home and eat some cheesy pizza.
Emma had collected a container of sand because she wanted to build more sand castles at home.
I told her outside is the best place to do it just so there wouldn't be a huge mess.
Martinus had ordered two pizzas and I got the kids cleaned up and in their pj's.
Soon enough the delivery guy came and we were eating some pizza. I told the kids to brush their teeth so they didn't have to worry about it if they got tired. After that, we were on the couch watching a movie. Emma was in Martinus arms and she was slowly drifting to sleep. Eli was sitting with me, but as soon as Boo had to leave Mike and Sully, he started crying.
The movie ended and Martinus carried Emma up to bed.
Eli said he wasn't tired, so I poured some milk in a glass and microwaved it to be warm, but not hot.
Martinus came downstairs and said, "I can handle this munchkin."
"No I got him, you go to bed. The twins were with you all day."
"What did I do to deserve you and the twins?" Martinus gave me a kiss and left to get ready for bed.
Eli still wasn't tired, so I tucked him into bed and read him a couple stories.
Soon enough he was fast asleep.

Sorry for not writing in a long time, I've just been busy with homework and stuff like that, so hopefully I'll get some time in to write more!
