A couple months later..
We were in the kitchen making breakfast. Martinus was cooking the bacon and I was making pancakes.
Suddenly my water broke, "Martinus! The babies would like some bacon!"
He shut off the stove and ran towards me, "Holy-"
"Don't swear! Help me get to the car!"
Martinus grabbed our baby bag.
He drove as fast as he could to the hospital, without going over the speed limit.
We got there and I was rushed into a room.
Martinus called both of our parents, and they were on their way.
Emma came with Martinus' parents and we FaceTimed Marcus, because he was in America doing some work. Reese was the first to arrive. Jack and Lucas came with my parents because they were still in school and didn't have their drivers license.
Everyone was outside waiting for the twins.

5 Hours of waiting ...
"Alright everyone, the twins have arrived, but I'd like the father to be with them before everyone comes in. Martinus? Where are you?"
Tinus stepped forward and the nurse led him into the room.
"Who is baby A?" Tinus asked.
"Baby A is the boy."
"Well, I like your Elijah and Emilia idea, but could we call them Eli and Emma?"
"I like that, Eli and Emma. I think it suits them."
Martinus picked the pen up and wrote their names.
The nurse finally let everyone else in.
Emma was very excited, "Can I hold one?"
"Of course you can! Eli? Or Emma?"
"Oh! Hold Emma, we can get a picture with the two Emma's!" Martinus said.
I gave Emma baby B and then Emma started crying, "She so beautiful I can't stop myself from going into tears!"
Tinus snapped a picture and hugged the two Emma's.
Jack held Eli, but Lucas wanted to hold him after. They were about to fight over who held who, so Martinus took Eli away from them. We all had a laugh at that.
I had to stay overnight just so the doctors could be sure nothing was wrong with our kids.
They both seemed very healthy, but you could never be too sure.

It was the next morning and I was getting ready to go. Martinus put the babies in the carriers. He had to carry both because the doctors didn't want me lifting too soon.
Martinus strapped the babies in the back and we drove off.
We arrived at the house and walked in to pitch black. We turned the lights on and people popped out of nowhere!
"SURPRISE!" Reese walked over to us and said, "We wanted to welcome the babies with a party."
I was still in an emotional wreck so I started crying. Tinus put the babies down and hugged me, "Hey, it's alright. Let it all out."
We went outside and had hot dogs and burgers.
I was really tired so I went to bed early. Tinus put the babies to sleep, although it wasn't very easy.
