The Doctor's POV

A blood curdling scream fills my ears. It's Chloe. She's no longer "asleep." She's awake, and she must still have emotion. She's dying.

"NO!" I screamed. I turned around to face Chloe, her grip only tightened around me.

What do I do?! What do I do?! I NEED TO THINK! FAST!

I can't let her die, not here, not now. She has so much to live for, she has to become normal again. Well, she'll never be normal again, but she can has to at least become human again. She has to.

I take my free hand and reach into my pocket. I grab the sonic. I have to think of what to do. Will it help? Probably not. What else could I do? There are lights on, might it help if I turn them off? Worth a shot.

I turn off the lights in the room using the sonic. All the lights. It becomes pitch black. The only faint light there is, is coming from outside the room. Chloe is still screaming though.

What else can I do?!

I can try to sooth her.

"Hush, Chloe, it's going to be alright." I kneel down, "Everything is going to be alright, I will get you out of this."

"D-doctor." She has a different voice, it's changing into a Cyberman voice. "H-hurts." She screams again

"Yes, Chloe, I know, it hurts."

"N-no." Her voice is changing even more, it's barely her own anymore. "Doctor hurts. The Doctor must hurt." Her voice is now fully electronic.

I realize what she means. She's not hurting, she's trying to hurt me. More like it is trying to hurt me, this is no longer Chloe. It may have been Chloe at first, now it's a Cyberman.

She screams louder. Now it's her voice again. It's her fighting. I have a spark of hope.

I need to do something, she's dying. She's not going down without a fight. But, nonetheless, she's slipping away.

I force her hand off of me, I have to do something. I can't see much, but I can see the light coming from outside her door. I swiftly walk to it, opening it.

Then a new light emits from behind me. It's blue, not the normal color the Tardis makes. I turn my head back. It's Chloe, she's glowing blue, still screaming.

I can't do anything in here, so I have to get something.

Of course! If I get a magnetic-prohibitor then I can scramble the signal for a brief enough amount of time. Then I can put her to sleep, and put a field around her to prevent the signal from waking her again. She'll be safe enough for me to reverse the upgrade.

I bolt down the hall to the controls. I know I left a magnetic-prohibitor around here somewhere. It's probably under somewhere. I open a panel and start looking.

I hear her screams. It pains me to hear. It pains me to know that she is dying.

I frantically look. I need to find the magnetic-prohibitor. Fast.

I throw things behind me. I grab something that looked like what I needed. But it wasn't it, so I tossed it. I continued my search.

Aha!

Found it!

I run back to Chloe's room.

She's now shaking, and still glowing.

I set the prohibiter, I turn it on.

Chloe stops screaming. She stops shaking. She stops glowing. She's still, in bed, laying still.

The prohibiter needs to charge, I'll have to continuously set it off.

I'm one step closer. I have an idea. I have a plan.
