" Attention everyone, please fasten up your sit belts, we would be landing shortly" the hostess spoke into the mike.

Melody was relieved to see the end of this flight and trip. Procam had recently gotten international contracts, which prompted the trip to south Korea.

Her boss had called her in the middle of the night two weeks ago, and told her to pack up immediately and meet him at the lagos international airport.

she was both happy and annoyed. Happy for the opportunity , vexed for the short notice.

The signings on the deals with an international south korean photography agency couldn't have gone better, the only problem was the language barrier.  Which they scaled through with the help of efficient translator's. This happened to be procams biggest deal.

"I am really pleased with the rate at which you handled this deal with me, i am very much impressed and assure you of a raise", he said looking at melody, who still found it hard to look back at him, for reasons she wasn't sure of.

"I didn't really do much", she said with a huge smile on her face, due to the statement of a raised pay.

"I would love for you to come with me and have a celebratory dinner", he proposed.

He had earlier intentions on asking her out to dinner, during their business trip, but he was a man who put business before pleasure, and since this was good timing and there was a reason for it, he took advantage of the opportunity.

She looked at him wide eyed, with suprise.

"Me?, dinner", then she decided it was nothing personal, "I doubt I am his type anyways" she thought to herself.

"Off course you, I dont see any other personal assistant, here with me, or is there?", he said smiling innocently at her.

"I am sorry, I was just surprised by the invitation and took it for..", she realised she was almost talking out of context and cut it off ,"sure I will".

Several hours later, they were out of the restaurant, walking quietly side by side.

"Dinner was wonderful, wouldn't mind doing it some other time, with you!"  He emphasised smiling, "just incase you are planning to ask if it were you , I was referring to".

suprised for the second time that night, she looked at him, like he were someone else.

" I find this hard to believe, this is the first time, I have been asked out to dinner, twice in one night and its also from the man I least expect", then she smiled.

" I would be glad to, just in case you were about to change your mind", she completed.

Tolu laughed, "there's a first time for everything and everyone".

He paused and continued " I want for us to have a relationship ,other than that of employee and employer" .

confused at the angle this conversation was going too.

She said "I thought you despised me, and what kind of other relationship is there?" With a questioning look on her face.

"hm..hm.hmm" cleared his throat "well I never said I dedpised you, only got annoyed by you, quite often and I apologised for that. Didn't I?".

"yes you did" she agreed.

He nodded and continued "as for what other relationship, I meant has friends, or do you have any other in mind" he said smiling sheepishly.

"Oh!, friends, silly me" she said dryly and secretely wished he had meant more than friends.

He called over a uber ride for her, paid more than what the price would have been and bid her farewell.

After the cab had gone from his sight. He said angrily "why did I say friends?, and why the hell am I getting emotional about this?!!!!!, I cant fall in love and would never, all girls are the same".

But something told him she was different.

Melody sat quitely through the ride home.

"Why of all the people on this earth, does this heart of mine have to ache for tolu".

She thought sadly ,"he is a womaniser and highly egotistical, yet here I am thinking of him".

She got home and claribel was there to receive her with open arms and an eager ear.

Tolu got home, called on one of his girls, had a good bottle of exotic wine, with her. He had no patience to take her to the room, so he decided to have her in his sitting room.

Right on his leather couch, he dragged at her clothes very aggressively.

"So you tell me your boss asked you out to dinner the second time, just after having dinner with you?", claribel said to melody with a huge smile on her face.

"Yes he did", melody answered sleepily for the hundredth time.

Claribel noticing this said "don't you dare sleep on me. I haven't seen you for about two weeks and now I do and you also happen to have a good story to tell".

Melody sighed "nothing else to say girl, I need to rest and i feel quite tired from the trip okay! , Promise to gist you, first thing in the morning".

Claribel now realising how tired her friend was gave up ,"a deals a deal, first thing tomorrow morning, before you even think".

Melody was happy to be left alone, to dream about the thing she recently fancied the most , her boss.
