(Y/N) POV

I didn't believe it. Being cooped up? Seriously? She loves school, and could easily go outside. ‘She’s hiding something, and I'm going to find out what.’ I thought, now determined to help her. I quietly sat up, got dressed, and made my way outside. I didn't know what I was doing, but I was going to try to get to the bottom of things. I walked to Vale, and wandered the streets for a bit. While I was there, I realized something...I didn't get any Christmas presents! ‘It’s only two more weeks until Christmas, so I might as well do it now.’ Surprisingly, most shops were still open, and I could get what I needed.

For Ruby, I got a weapon attachment. For Blake, I got a new bow, since her current one is a bit torn up, and the newest Ninjas of Love book. For Yang, I got a bunch of stuff for pranks. But I was stuck. What do I get for Weiss? She was rich, and pretty much hated me. So, what do I get her? Maybe I could make her something. Like a necklace or something. ‘I think I might be able to convince Ozpin to let me blacksmith something, so let's do that. I hope she likes it.’ I thought, while starting to run back to Beacon. I needed to start as soon as possible.

Once I was finally there, I looked at the clock. It was 3 o’clock in the morning, and I was pretty sure that Ozpin would be up. I quietly walked to the elevator, and pushed the button to go up. One by one, the floors went by. I was so excited, I couldn't stop smiling. But then the smile disappeared. What if she hated it? She probably has a million other necklaces of her emblem, so how do I make this one extra special? Then I came up with an idea. My smile came back, and just in time too. The doors opened, and sitting in his chair was the Headmaster himself. He looked up and questioned me.

“Good morning Miss (L/N), what brings you here at this hour?”

“I need to ask you about something…” I explained my plan to him, and he thought it was a wonderful idea. After we were done making arrangements, we said our goodbyes, and I headed to team RWBY’s dorm room. I walked through the halls, and thought about my plan until I was at the door. With a swipe of my scroll, it unlocked with a small click. I quietly opened the door, and saw that no one was up yet. As soon as I was in, I shut the door, took off my armour, and laid down in my bed. I would only get a few hours of sleep in, but it was more than my normal amount-zero. ‘This is going to be great.’ And with that thought in my head, I fell into a peaceful slumber.

As soon as my alarm went off, I sprung up out of bed and grabbed my clothes. The rest of team RWBY woke up because of all the noise I was making while rushing around.

“What are you doing up so early?” Yang asked, a sleepy sounding tone in her voice. They all looked at me with questioning eyes.

“Oh, I'm heading off somewhere. I won't be in class today, speaking of which.” They stared at me, I assumed they were looking for any hints or clues. “Well, see ya!” I said while walking out into the hallway, shutting the door behind me.

Yang POV

‘What was that all about? She’s hiding something.’ I thought.
